South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Oklahoma need to have their skies filled with Predators. You all want a second Civil War do ya? How did the first one work out? We were superior in tech then, and are superior in tech now. Blue states have Silicon Valley, Caltech and MIT. Good look shooting a Predator with your AR-15 hillbillies. WE WILL PUT YOU DOWN FAST.

While I'm all for making the police safer - what about making the people safer, who pay for and employ the police? Perhaps that Police chief wants a policeman one very corner, across the country?

Let's take all guns away from these nutcases!!!! Yeah, that would work. And when Lanza would have walked into that school, found a class that had 20-25 little children in it, and proceeded to chop them to pieces with a machete, would the government decide that we need to ban all knives over the length of 2 inches? Just as many children would be dead, the police would still have taken 20 minutes to get there, and no one with a gun would have been around to stop him.
Their whole argument is insane. If they take the guns, he will kill with knives. If they take the knives he will kill with his bare hands. Ahhh, but therein lies the rub. He would only be able to kill a couple and not 20. According to our government, killing only one child at a time is good, while killing 20 is bad. Abortion lives on.
Pulling a Timothy McVeigh would have been much easier and more death count. Why is it no one is talking about the illegal moooslime in our country that used jets and box cutters to murder thousands?

Okay, Giffords was not testifying. She was being used as a prop, much like the children were used (for the EOs on gun control), the doctors were used (for ObamaCare) and the police were used (for gun control). Can these people stoop any lower?

That was totally disgusting. Put a woman on who can't speak well, have her trudge through a statement that says absolutely nothing and call that testimony. I feel for her and the trials she's been through, but her statement did nothing to advance the conversation.
All it did was give ammunition to the left to say, "What, you would argue against a woman who can barely speak, but yet she took the time to come here to fight against the outrage of guns and the evil NRA".

Yeah, and I heard her husband say today that he and her are both gun owners. Did she get a gun after she was shot? If it was before, where was it at the shooting? And if she owns guns, why does she want others to not have them?
She should be used for the prop she is. She ignored the written warnings from the mentally ill young man, went to the parking lot unarmed. But for the CCW person she would be dead.
