We may be closer to finding out the real problem. I don't think it was a botched gun tracking program to catch gang members, but was a full blown attempt to flood the market and use the carnage created to limit purchases in the U.S. It was all about cutting into the protections of the 2nd amendment.
Even THIS administration could have caught one gun if that were the goal.
Thugs are running our government now. Two of the three brances are alighned and I worry about the participation of the third.

What is so astoundingly agonizing about this entire fiasco is the wanton dereliction of our drug enforcement agencies, they have deliberately armed the Sinaloa drug cartel, and possibly others, in order to keep the supply side of illicit drugs flowing into this country. The assault on our second amendment rights was just frosting on this toxic cake. We have multiple agencies from DHS, DEA, BATFE, DOJ, and now the President himself covering up what should be considered an act of terror on this country and Mexico.
