If I didn’t know better I’d think the H that begins Obama’s middle name stands for Hypocrisy. I mean really, this is beyond pathetic:

WFB – “We are voting on the budget today,” he said at a March 16, 2006 event. “It’s a sad state of affairs. We just voted to increase the debt limit. The U.S. total debt at this point exceeds $8 trillion. That’s 8 trillion with a ‘T.’ So we’ve got to get our fiscal house in order here in Washington. I’m not sure it’s going to happen under the current leadership in Congress.”

Listen:

Dear Obama, the debt is now 16 trillion. That’s 16 trillion with a 16 and a ‘T’.

Is there a word that is worse than hypocrisy? If there is, then we can apply it to Obama.

It wold appear that Barry's position on debt and deficits has evolved...

This is how the Democrats won in 2006 midterms/ 2008. They portrayed themselves as fiscally conservative when it came to the budget and the debt ceiling.

Democrats always adapt when they have to in order to win and conquer.

His middle name stands for hypocrisy....that's a good one. Thanks for posting. So he was against raising the debt ceiling to $8 trillion but ok w raising it double that. Does he know how to count? The $16 trillion is an INCREASE.

It appears our Hypocrite-in-Chief, the magnificent Zero, is at it again! Raising the debt limit was the unforgivable sin during the G.W. Bush years. 16 TRILLION (of which Zero owns over 6 TRILLION of it and counting) dollars in debt later, raising the debt ceiling AGAIN is just hunky-dory. If he wasn't so pathetic, it would be comical!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America 's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government 's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

Raising the debt limit under Bush = Wrong. Raising the debt limit under Obama = Right.

"Failure of leadership'? (under Bush). "The buck stops here"? (under Bush).

Which is it Sen. Barry, which is it President Barry?

You 2 Bit, lying, situational hypocrite.

It is the way of the Islamist. Lie, steal, cheat, deceive and pretend to be the infidel's friend. Void of any logic, conscience, responsibility, accountability.

Congrats folks- we have Hezbollah in office.

This country has run up a debt of $8 trillion in over 230 years. Barry, you and your buddies in the Democratic party have doubled that in 6 years - doubled it. Will you double it again in the next 3 years? God help us if we don't stop this man before that time comes. We can't wait that long.

I'm watching the Supreme Court come Feb. 15th. We can only hope and pray that this will start to change things before we are forced to take matters into our own hands.

What's beyond pathetic is all the fools that voted for him.

OBAMA: "We're just taking out a credit card from the Bank of China, essentially. We're borrowing that money. And we've added $4 trillion worth of debt since George Bush took office. Keep in mind, just to give you some perspective, the first 42 presidents amassed $5 trillion worth of debt. So the first 200-and- something years of our existence as a nation, we added up $5 trillion. George Bush by himself, number 43, almost doubled it."

(Senator Barack Obama, Remarks, Columbus, OH, 6/13/08)

In 8 years with a D Congress for the last two years, which just happen to be the two years with Bush's largest deficites. And Obuma adds $6T in four years...hypocrit is too nice a term for what's happening.

The fact that you even felt the need to apologize and, that, for a very understandable outburst of passion, demonstrates your high morals. Keep it that way friend.

An equivalent of your example on the MotherJones and HuffPo threads is scarcer than non-existent.

Interesting analysis; I hadn't thought of that and you're probably right. I'm beginning to think of him as Satan's spawn.

Let's not forget that that, "current leadership" in the 2006 Congress was Democrat leadership, not GOP. However the RHINOs in that crew allowed this hypocritical travesty to occur on their watch! Too bad the idiots that voted ignorantly for four more years of this incompetence have dragged all of us down with them in this pit. The tyrant in chief is a pathetic hypocrite, but the letches in Congress that made this mess are even worse!

Well spotted. I for a long time now (say since mid 2010) have gotten tired of being angry with and hating Obama himself.

My frustration and hate is now channeled at his enablers, namely the media; the fake/dead GOP and those who maintain a blind loyalty to the latter. If my neighbor gets burgled at knife point once, I'd feel sorry for him and if I was well-off I'd even help compensate him of some of the material things he lost.

But if, afterwards, I offer him a SmithandWesson to protect his household and also offer to fund a high-walled barb-wired enclosure around his home and he refuses, after the third time he gets burgled, I'll not only just stop talking to him; I might even be tempted to leave some milk and cookies on his doorstep for the next time the burglars come round.

After the Lord's manner subsequent to telling a parable, I feel I should interpret somewhat: My 'neighbor' is the GOP and its persistent supporters!

Dingy harry did the same thing. I think it's mandatory that to belong to the modern democrat party, one must take an oath of hypocrisy. Evil lying freaks.
