The Gingrich bashing out there is staggering. It’s nearing Palin Derangement territory.

    • Anonymous

That tells me they fear him. I think they have something going with Romney to cover up all that’s been going on. He’s one of them.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_6OHPEHB4CY3X6GEGFS63DAC6MI TannerE

I sure as heck am scared of him… AND Romney. Out of the entire crop, here are the two least conservative of them all leading the pack. I’m terribly disappointed in Republicans right now.

        • http://www.facebook.com/people/Ricardo-Galvan/100001729378103 Ricardo Galvan

You don’t really know what you’re talking about here, or you’ve forgotten. Gingrich has his issues, but he has always been one of us.

          • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_6OHPEHB4CY3X6GEGFS63DAC6MI TannerE

I would say overall, during his career, he’s grown the size of government. He may have fought small battles in favor of shrinking government… but the times he expanded government were doozies.

The best hope one could have for him is that he would just keep government the same size… no real net growth or shrinkage.

            • http://www.facebook.com/people/Ricardo-Galvan/100001729378103 Ricardo Galvan

Who you voting for? If it’s Santorum with this criticism, it be hilarious. What are the examples of his “growth” of government? I am aware of his record and can’t find myself describing it the way you do. I am aware he voted for the Department of Education back in 1979. I am not aware of anything else.

              • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_6OHPEHB4CY3X6GEGFS63DAC6MI TannerE

Definitely not Santorum either… process of elimination should let you know who I favor. But sheepublicans are too hung up on Paul’s humble foreign policy and ignore the fact that the debt and over-printing of the dollar is by far the greatest threat to this country right now.

As for Newt, yes, Dept of Education… also he voted for NAFTA, supported of WTO, supported the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 which was a huge blow to 2nd amendment, and in more recent years supported the TARP bailouts, cap and trade, and individual mandate. The guy always boasts about his 4 years of a balanced budget, which happened during the dot com boom – his policies had very little to do with the extra revenue govt was receiving.

I can’t count on Mitt, Newt, nor Santorum to shrink the size of government. And too much is as stake to have to wait 8 more years to get someone in there that will.

AP report states 4 out of 5 entrance voters are conservative, 3 out of 4 are Tea Party members…let’s see how this works out. If this is true it should go to Santorum…HA…idiots will vote for Mitt.

    • Anonymous

Just goes to show you that too many members of the Tea Party (or those that call themselves Tea Party members) are just as ignorant as the sheeple Demorats.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_6OHPEHB4CY3X6GEGFS63DAC6MI TannerE

Yes, the sheepublicans are out in full force this year… very sad.

    • Constance

Unfortunately, lots of people these days call themselves “Tea Partiers”, when they really aren’t. They may be republican, or they may even consider themselves conservative. I’ve met some of these people recently. I was talking to moderates, not to conservatives. So, I would take the AP report with a grain of salt. True conservative tea party people would give Santorum an overwhelming win, followed by Gingrich, because Romney is establishment moderate. Just my two cents here.

    • Anonymous

I think Drudge and the press are proudly proclaiming that to give conservative credibility to Romney.

      • Anonymous

I won’t throw Drudge under the bus, yet, but all other pressers are promoting Mitt as a conservative…RINO at best.

        • Anonymous

Drudge was in total cahoots with the body slamming of Newt Gingrich by the establishment. The drudge report has become a Romney lovers nest…

    • Anonymous

….and one out of two is Mormon. What’s in it for them?

  • Anonymous

So does anyone have an idea what Newt’s presser is about? I would be shocked if he was getting out, so I wonder if this is just a way to get some attention off of ole’ Mittens.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Steven-Valdez/1806887704 Steven Valdez

I dunno, I heard he was going to allow media to ask questions

    • Anonymous

It must infuriate Newt to see the pundits on FOX and elsewhere speculating that he’s dropping out because he “has no choice because it’s obvious Romney’s going to be the nominee.” I’m sick, sick, sick to death of this underhanded way to just push their chosen one forward and dismiss everyone else. I hope he slaps them all silly at his press conference later.

      • http://twitter.com/2Eskies2Many Kari George

Meh. He knows what they are. I love it that Newt’s so matter-of-fact (“Do you want to address…?” No…But I will) I actually doubt it phases him much. Unlike Romney, he is a warrior and he didn’t get the reputation (the real one, not the bs) & accomplishments he has by being a delicate little flower.

It’s not “obvious” at all- and they know it (boy, after the last couple of days, they *really* know it…haha), but they think if they keep repeating it, it will somehow
        “sink in”.
Otherwise known as ‘whistling in the dark’.

Heh. Infuriates the H-E-Double L out of us, though, doesn’t it?
        Channel that energy ;-)

    • http://profiles.yahoo.com/u/2GR77FIJZ2A2ZBKZFGRXYG7QY4 kim

That’s what I think. Pressers are presidential. Newt garners attention to himself and can show his finesse with thinking-on-his-feet and answering tough questions, neither of which Mitt can do very well.

      • Anonymous

How can they be presidential? I never see Obama giving any. /sarc

      • Anonymous

The presidential candidate who comes out wearing a star-spangled tuxedo with a mad-hatter’s U.S. flag top hat and cardboard (fat-free and heart-healthy) pigs flying out of his butt… who tells us that he is simply dressing for the job the press is asking him to run for… Get’s my vote.

well… not really, but pretty darn close. Acting, “presidential” to me, means telling the truth.

I’m having a very, very hard time wanting to vote for anyone.

In other words, Newt is going to announce that he is copying Ron Paul’s strategery.

        • Anonymous

Newt’s campaign was totally positive until Romney flip-flopped in Iowa on his promise to refrain from negative attacks, which Ron Paul got in on without any hesitation. So the first to go negative were Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.

      • Anonymous

I wonder if Newt’s strategy deals with the Romney/Paul alliance. Apparently they have been working together to take down the leading opponents. I heard about this on Levin’s show last night but didn’t hear all the details.

Has he seen the video of Romney calling himself a progressive and distancing himself from Ronald Reagan? I live in Massachusetts – Romneycare is bankrupting this state and destroying our medical care system… and Mitt is NO Conservative!!! He did not run for a second term as governor because he knew he could not win (he had about a 43% approval rating). That is when he decided to run for president and suddenly became a conservative because he knew he would never be nominated as a Massachusetts RINO.

I can give you the answer in one word – FEAR! As I look back over the months I have listened to many; pundits, journalists etc. and then read and read and read comments on various websites. There is so much fear Obama will be elected again few are able to think straight. Even Ann Coulter has gone awry because it wasn’t that long ago she did not think Mitt Romney could win.

Everyone knows how important this election is so most are voting for Romney because they have been told to think he is the most “electable” candidate and that he IS a conservative even though his record is anything but conservative. You know what they say; if you hear a lie long enough you will believe it. What people refuse to see is if Romney does get elected he will govern as a liberal and as we know they will rue the day they cast the vote in his name.

All of this sounds rather simplistic but if you think about the vitriol that has been thrown not only at the candidates but their supporters I think you will agree this is anger is based in fear. Let’s face it; people are ruled by emotions, fear is irrational and when fear takes over people make mistakes. Unfortunately, in this case we will all pay because a Romney or Obama presidency will hurt all of us.

PS. The only thing I know that will change anyone or anything is prayer so if you are a praying woman get on your knees for your friend because God can do what you cannot.

    • Constance

I think part of the blame lies with people like Ann Coulter, who waves around her conservative banner like a sword. People assume if she is for Mitt, then why shouldn’t they be? When so-called conservatives push a candidate like this, they can persuade other conservatives who may not be well informed. A lot of people think Trump and Chris Christie are “conservative” too, so their endorsements can carry weight with people. For me, their endorsements tell me they aren’t conservative.

      • Anonymous

Crispy Cream is a Northeast RINO just like Romney. I don’t know where Coulter went to but these two are not true conservatives!

        • B-Funk

Yah, I kinda wonder, myself. These people are problems. RINO-ism is a real disease in DC, but the only thing we can do is keep fighting, and keep putting people like West and Rubio in.

      • Anonymous

Their endorsements count for jack! Silly unprincipled phonies they are…

      • Anonymous

People had better wake up to the fact that there is a machine out there with a whole lot of money and influence on much of the media – and they are pumping out nothing but propaganda. Then there are the folks like Ann Coulter who have gone off the rails and probably care more about selling their books than anything else. You have to do the research for yourself…

Chris Christie is the only Republican governor who refused to sign on to Mark Levin’s Landmark Legal Foundation’s challenge to Obamacare (and it would not cost NJ a dime!)… he told a group of illegals they are not illegal, just undocumented, and sees no problem appointing a Muslim (who has some questionable connections) as a judge – all the fuss about Sharia is nonsense, he says.

Ann Coulter has no credibility because she was slamming Mitt until she was convinced Christie would not run.

These people are in tight with the GOP establishment, for whatever reason, just like National Review, etc. They all participated in the media garbage dump against Newt last week… helping their guy Mitt with his campaign of destruction.

It is a disgrace! Why can’t we have a campaign on the issues and let the best man win? Too idealistic, huh? Well, if the RNC machine continues to bulldoze conservatives this way (including Allen West in FL through their redistricting) than a 3rd party may be the only way to go. Clearly they don’t have any use for conservative voters except at election time… and they are all part of the problem in Washington, not the solution!

        • http://twitter.com/PoeAllen Allen Poe

You just don’t get it. The vote for OB is not your vote, anymore. Ob may control Iowa, but Vegas is mafia. I would say, time for you to go GB. Buy gold, arms, and food. you are going to need it.

          • Anonymous

Eyes wide open on this one. I think it is amazing that we believe we can change the ‘machine’ when it is becoming incredibly clear that the machine has already decided that even if our votes matter, we are very stupid and don’t know what is best for ourselves, therefore we don’t matter.

A quick study of the electoral college and delegate rules for our elections shows that what we vote literally doesn’t matter at all. (electoral votes are NOT required to be according to a popular election, let alone even requiring an election at all, and the delegates are much the same way, which is how they change support when ‘their guy’ drops out and asks his guys to support someone else…)

You will only get rid of the government, when we as a people, get rid of the government influence in our lives everywhere they insist that we need them: Welfare, WIC, Medicare/MedicAid, SocialSecurity, FEMA, SCHIP, Business Regulation, SEC, FDA, Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac, Public Education, ALL subsidies, etc…

We have invited tyranny into our lives, our homes, granted guardianship over our children and our parents.

Getting the government to reduce its size, IS possible, but it is also true that it will take a revolution… albeit, NOT the one that we would normally think of; not a violent revolution – violent revolutions only lead to MORE control, and that is the last move on the chess board for this government before ‘checkmate’.

Not a violent revolution, but a revolution of obsolescence:
Until we stop using the government and its “programs”, until we stop allowing the Federal government to exert control over us, we will be subject to it, and it will not, will never, go away. Until we realize that we, the people, govern, until we no longer ‘need’ the government, it will continue to grow.

I am always surprised when anyone, especially candidates running for government office, essentially state that the government is the answer to getting rid of the government.

I wonder if Romney will ever ‘man up’ and campaign on the issues rather than smears and now subterfuge? He is just like Obama – he can’t run on his record so he is spending millions to destroy his challengers. What a loser. No wonder he has lost so many elections! I hope he loses this one and is not able to buy it. If the candidate with the most money wins – if people are that shallow and so easily bought – America is in a lot of trouble.

I just read that, I had chills afterward. It is so similar to what I was feeling about Obama in 2008..who is this guy? Yet here republicans are about to do the same.

        • Anonymous

I’ve stopped trying to figure out who he is because I don’t like or trust what I have seen so far. He will say and do anything to get elected and has no conservative credentials or convictions. He is a fraud – and that’s just not good enough. This election is too important to risk putting a RINO in the White House, assuming he can beat Obama, which I doubt.

He will not repeal Obamacare, nor will he reform the tax code, or end the class warfare garbage, nor change anything in Congress. He is just another country club Republican who will be very comfortable hanging out with John Boehner and “go along to get along”. And America will slide right off the cliff… a little slower than with Obama… but off the cliff we will go!

Mormons vote for the Mormon, yep. Just like blacks vote for the black guy, but I don’t want to generalize, “only” 95% of blacks voted for Obama. About the same percentage of Mormons vote for the Mormon guy.

I’m pretty sure that is not in the least bit Conservative, it is tribalism. Vote ‘your own kind’, nothing else matters.

I’m sorry but I was negative on our prospects once the stage was finally set. Mitt, Newt, Michelle, Herman, John H., Rick S., Rick P., and Ronny P. made me have nightmares of Obama stealing my Heineken’s and my flu shots. I had night sweats and everything because I knew of the impending doom that was on its way because we cant find a worthy human being to represent us. I saw a exit poll stat on Fox that said the biggest reason people voted for Romney was his ability to beat Obama. If that is true, then why is he doing worse in all the primaries than he did in ’08? How does that equate to being able to beat the 0, if he couldn’t beat McLame back then?

    16.6% reporting…

    Romney 38.6%
    Gingrich 27.2%

It’s much closer than anyone thought and it’s not over yet. The last county to report is favored for Newt. He spent no money in Nevada, did no advertising, or real campaigning and had no organization there… Looks like he could still pull this off!

IMO Newt can beat Obama AND fix the mess.

And yet they’re saying right now on FOX that Romney’s win will be bigger than his 51% in 2008 — as high as 55%.

Before FL I was hoping there was some kind of silent majority there that would come out of the woodwork on primary day and let everyone know they saw right through the expensive attack ad campaign, but no such luck.

I am hoping that the distance between Romney and Gingrich will not be as large as they are assuming it will be. Like you pointed out, with no advertising and no real campaigning there, that would speak well of Newt and could give him some good momentum.

This is the part I hate, being a statistian. Polls, predictions, are for pre voting. After the vote, it is the 100% of votes that counts. 16% of the ‘predicted votes’ means absolutely nothing. Stupid old England, has a law forbidding the election results to be released until all are counted. Yes, we are right a lot of times, but it is just a guess, not a fact. I really hate it when the mass media headline becomes win or loss. Truman/Dewey is prime example. Until I see the final tally, no one has won or lost.

The sooner Santorum drops out the sooner willard will be put away.

One attribute a leader needs is the ability to self assess, if Santorum can’t see he has no chance to beat Newt and stays in to help willard beat Newt, he can’t even assess his effectiveness. It also shows he would rather be a spoiler and see two liberals running if he can’t win the hearts of the republican party.

    • Anonymous

I don’t think Santorum is being financed by Romney, but he sure can’t assess where things are at. I’ve said for a long time I wish one or the other would step aside for the good of everyone, and Santorum has more years to run in the future, it doesn’t look like any state is polling his way, he should step aside.

Gingrich picks the Giants for the Superbowl

Nevada and Florida are both ‘purple’ states…meaning they are neither ‘red’ nor ‘blue’ states.
Iowa and New Hampshire are blue states.

The only truly red state that has voted so far, is South Carolina.
    Newt did well there.

The way our primaries are being held…the deck is stacked against a conservative candidate in the early voting.
This is why TeamRomney is trying so hard to have him declared ‘the nominee’ before the big red states even get to vote.

I really hate the way our primaries are set up.

    • Anonymous

Yes, in this primary, I want MY vote counted! I want a choice.

    • Brian Cunningham

For blue states, Iowa and New Hampshire elect a lot of Republicans. Iowa has a Republican Governor and Senator. NH has a Republican senator. To me blue states are like California, Washington and New York where the Democrats control the whole thing.

      • Persephone

        I know what you mean.
And the demographics are constantly changing, as to what is a red, blue or purple state.

But in the last Presidential election…Iowa and New Hampshire went to Obama.
Florida and Nevada did as well.

So I hate it that these states are getting so much power in picking who our nominee will be.

Exactly how I felt. My husband was dumbfounded. I’ve been trying to tell him how much they’re in the tank for Romney at FOX, but he doesn’t watch often enough to see it. Did you notice the way Bret Baier ended the segment? He re-iterated the tally up to that point. There was 41% of the vote counted, he said Romney got first place (act. 42%), Santorum was in last place (act. 13%), and it was still up in the air for second (Newt had 26% and Paul had 18%).

Now there was a larger difference between Newt and Paul (8%) than between Paul and Rick (5%), but they left the impression that Newt might end in 3rd place. That’s the little things that they do to put Newt down.

This is awful for mitt romney! Romney had 51% of the vote in 2008 and after 6 years of running for the Presidency and 26% of the voting public in Nevada being mormons in favor of him, he cannot even get 75% of the GOP to go his way!?? In 2012, Romney ran 427 attack ads on Newt and 123 negative ads were run by his staff (former) through his superpac, this is all he has to show for it!????

Newt and his superpac spent nothing in NV ads this year.

romney cannot come out of the GOP with a majority of the GOP AGAINST him and expect to win against obama! Despite all the PR telling us romney is the candidate that can win the White House against President Obama, it’s obvious romney is so unelectable :_(!

The GOP is toast if they split the party with a guy who can’t even pull a huge majority out of his preferred Nevada voters!

There is no credible way any Santorum supporter could ever jump from Santorum to Romney because of Newt’s marriages. As I said in an earlier post Newt could be married to three ladies at the same time with two concubines on the side and he would still be more conservative than pro-choice Romney!

      • Brian Cunningham

My wife is for Santorum and views Newt as a “moral leper.” The only way she would vote for Newt is against Obama.

According to the exit polls in Florida, Gingrich did very poorly with women, particularly married women. He also does very poorly with younger voters.

        • Anonymous

This married woman would vote Newt in a heart beat!

        • Anonymous

So I assume she doesn’t believe in redemtion? I am always dismayed at people who stand in judgement of someone who has come to God and asked for forgiveness. They insist on seeing that person for how they were not how they are now. If she considers Newt a moral leper, what is Romney? This is a man that said he converted to pro-life and then had his state pay for abortion thru Romneycare..I ask you what is worse, a man who is an ex-cheater, or a man that demanded tax payers pay to have a baby sucked out of a woman’s womb?

        • http://profile.yahoo.com/EPNKCLUJ4F2PBVGOB7MU7O56ZA W.

Actually married women were his largest group of supporters. They are the realists and know that no husband is perfect or fail-proof.

Another group of Newt supporters are Christians. They know what it’s like to need God’s grace and mercy. Many of us have pasts and horrible failures and faults that we are not proud of.

But, Christianity isn’t like Islam – In Christ, we have forgiveness and mercy. Christ makes all things new and gives people new hearts, minds, lives and the power to overcome. God gives us new hearts and lives when we turn to HIM.

If I was a demonicrate I would be so gleeful to see a liberal and a libertarian carrying such a high percentage of the votes in the primary. One thing the dems don’t have to worry about is intruders in their party, they only support the true commie, socialist, yeller dogs. I couldn’t help but picture DWS and her curly hair when I mentioned yeller dog.

When the talking heads that claim to be conservative start backing the liberals and libertarians and trying to push them off on the party like it is the only chance we have of winning, it is evident conservatism is not there objective.

Romney gave one hell of a speech tonight. I wish Santorum and Gingrich would realize that they don’t have a chance at the nomination, and bow out of the race. Especially Santorum, if your running for President of the United States and don’t even pay attention to states you know you don’t have a shot in, then why even bother running? They need to rally behind Romney, a strong, well organized, and the best equipped candiate I have seen since I started following politics at the age of 18. We need a strong well equipped Republican candidate who can appeal to both Democrats and Independents (Romney) to compete with the President and take back the White House along with the Senate, Gingrich and Santorum I’m affraid don’t have that X Factor that Romney has.

      Romney has the out-of-touch factor.

      • http://twitter.com/cfallon57 Cheryl Fallon

Really? A successful businessman, past governor, husband to one wife, father to his children is out of touch compared to Newt-someone that has been in DC forever and struggled with his personal life throughout much of his life and his faith as well? Romney is an accomplished problem solver and Newt is very schooled on historical implications and he knows the political machinery and how to work the system and is a great debater…either one will work for me. I want Obama out!

This is not a beauty contest Michael, it is for the life of our country. Romney truly is no conservative, just check out his record. However, he does have organization, (money) to take down others, because he has no record to build himself up.

Reminds me of the candidate that is now in the white house. God help us.

Romney lower turnout in FL in counties he won, less votes in IA, lower turnout in NV and the establishment is still pushing this guy why?

I’d rather have a frontal lobotomy than have Mitt Romney as the nominee….I’d rather have a bottle in front of me then have Mitt Romney as the nominee…

Gingrich and Santorum should declare a truce and tag team against Romney until they have knocked him out of the race.

  • Anonymous

Well it is happening…we will get another candidate chosen for us. Gingrich is no doubt the best man for the job as far as being for the citizens of this country. Which is exactly why he is being hammered. The so called establishment do not want their boat rocked and want to ensure the status quo is maintained. They are going to make sure it (Gingrich) doesn’t happen. Unfortunately the majority of Americans are are not RS caliber and will choose to follow where they are led. I just hope Romney can beat BO and if he does he doesn’t turn out to be as bad. I truly think that would be impossible…but…

Today’s news: “A sizable 41% of Nevada Facebook users say Donald Trump’s recent endorsement of the Republican presidential candidate negatively.”

That’s what you get for gaming with us, Trump.

Quote from the Newt Gingrich press conference last night:

““It hadn’t occurred to me that you would have the level of ruthlessness and the level of dishonesty that we saw last week,” he said. “I’ve been around a long time and I’ve been around a fair amount of campaigns and a fair number of fights.”

Gingrich wasted no time in lashing out at Romney, repeating his oft-used line about him being a “Massachusetts moderate” and dishonest in his paid advertising.

“I’ve never had a person stand next to me in a civil engagement and be as substantially dishonest as he was,” Newt said of the second Florida debate last week.

Calling his strategy “national,” Gingrich said he would head to Colorado and Minnesota this week, which are both holding Tuesday contests. He won’t go to Missouri, however, where he is not on the ballot. And while Michigan and Arizona vote next, he is skipping ahead on the calendar and going to Ohio, a Super Tuesday state, for a two-day bus tour in the middle of this week.

Gingrich will also return to Washington on Friday to speak at CPAC, allowing him to return to his home in McLean, Va., for a couple of days. He will start next week off in California, which doesn’t vote until June, he said, making a three-day swing through the state.”

I’m listening to the press conference right now and it is great – and he stood up for Christianity as strongly as Rubio in his speech.

Newt always makes so much good, common sense.

All attempts to get down Newt from both sides, republishment and international socialists-communists ( known as democrap gang) show us One think(g) –

Newt 2012 are deaths penalty for republishemnt and international socialists-communists ( known as democrap gang)

Even though Santorum only ran 1 ad in NV, this is a disappointing finish for him. He should be doing better. Hopefully he’ll pick up steam – as the pundits are indicating – in the next few states.

Newt’s speech was mixed… I’m glad he’s staying in and I’m glad he’s fighting Romney and the mud he’s slinging… but I hope that Newt focuses on Maobama from here on out. That is where the fight is and BO is the enemy. Newt would get more traction then.

What sucks is that Romney is by far the worst candidate in this race… worst history, worst gaffs, most timid platform, most negative ads, most lying… and yet he’s seemingly the most popular. If Mittens doesn’t get taken down soon, then the GOP can kiss the baby. It’s bye-bye time.

Load up the Senate, House, Judiciary and states with Tea Party conservatives and we win.

I could not be more in agreement.

I will once again hold nose and pull lever on the RINO if necessary.

But the energy of the racist, war mongering, red-neck ignorant, unwashed, Bible-thumping, God-loving Tea Party must be redirected from the presidential campaign and focused on infiltrating this corrupt government at every level and to actively destroy and dismantle the policies and politicians who we have followed into this morass.

Words don’t fail you my friend… well said. Well said indeed. :)

I kind of wish Newt would go a few weeks without uttering the word romney. I know he feels the need to not only defend himself, but to contrast himself with Romney, but at the same time, all I’m seeing today is how Romney talked about Obama in his speech last night, and Gingrich spent his press conference fixated on Romney. I don’t agree with that assessment because Gingrich contrasts himself against Romney/Obama all at the same time, his point being that they are virtually the same, but that’s not how it gets reported.

Newt needs to spend more time talking about the things he accomplished while in government… and not in generalities. There are a lot of people who are too young — or were not involved enough in politics at the time — to know what he actually did while in congress, so he needs to start talking specifics. Romney cannot talk about his own record; if Newt does nothing but talk about his own accomplishments, it’ll be very easy to see how Romney avoids his own. Right now, all people see is Newt talking about Romney.

    • StNikao

You can email them at http://www.newt.org and let them know. Newt actually asked for comments and feedback from folks.

Romney is the white version of Obama, so bashing Romney is an indirect way of trashing the establishment that has put us in this mess. Romney MUST be defeated and driven from politics.

71% of the vote in and 24K votes !! What a joke! There are more votes in my town than that!! It’s amazing this is taken serious. There should be a minimum number of votes required to make this valid – like the 500K signatures required in WI for the recall.

    Amazing, just really amazing !!

    • Anonymous

I find it interesting that most of the state was done reporting last night, but Clark county, the largest by far and largely in Romneys camp, has only accomplished 50% reporting. Why is it taking so long there? Is it just the number of votes or is there something going on to ensure Romney gets over 50%? I guess I see ninjas in the nighttime, all the time (I grew up in the LBJ era, lol).

Certainly, Romney supporters can’t keep saying he’s the most able to beat Obama, when he can’t even match his own totals in any of the primaries compared to ’08.

They explained it on CNN, they said it had to do with something with religion and honoring the sabbath on Saturday, they had to wait till after the sun to go down so they could vote.

        • Anonymous

Interesting. I didn’t know that. I find it strange that they would call all the voting done last night at nine (I think it was), but yet the results are yet to be determined in one county only (Clark).
