This audio by Adam Carolla is fantastic, but it’s filled with f-bombs and many other very colorful words. Don’t listen to it if you are going to be offended. But Carolla’s point is excellent as he attacks his critics for attacking him instead of addressing the real problem of why many blacks and latinos are stuck in poverty. It wasn’t that he brought it up, but it came after Gavin Newsom brought it up on his show, and then chickened out of actually discussing why the problem occurs. Carolla’s point is that the family has been destroyed to the point that parents aren’t sticking around to raise their kids:
“The Huffington Post has come out with a story that says ‘Adam Carolla to Gavin Newsom: ‘What’s wrong with blacks and Latinos?’’” Carolla said. “That’s not what I said to Gavin Newsom. I didn’t bring up blacks and Latinos. He brought up blacks and Latinos. But let me take this moment to now talk to all the **** that are out there trying to stir things up and turn me into a racist. I got news for you: Me saying parents should stick around and raise the children – me saying families and cultures should focus on education — is not radical or revolutionary. It’s the ***** truth.”
He couldn’t be more right.
