Of course he's also getting the threats, the calls in the middle of the night, and all you could expect...support these people cause they will. But GOD BLESS THEM! Free speech is not absolute. To many moronic people here. If Rush had said something that was truthful, it would be easy to defend him (even though he's wrong so often), but his comments were slanderous, factually incorrect, and done with malice. I truly doubt he ever heard the testimony Ms Fluke gave. In fact I would wager the 90+% of the people here didn't hear it either. Which is astounding considering that so many want to comment on it. Though not unusual for so many... Just like the recent CBO report on Obamacare and the repub's coming out and showing how much it went up, yet as the CBO stated is not only still lowers the deficit, the tweaks were very small. Come to find out the repub's were mixing apples & oranges. Not using the same years. Just goes to show their dishonesty.
I've listened to Rush since 1989 and I can't remember ever hearing anything that Rush said that was wrong. He illustrates the left's absurdity with his own absurdity but it's always truthful. I believe that people, especially the ones who never listen to him, take things out of context or doesn't understand Rush's method. Or simply make crap up to make Rush look bad.
You are joking of course? For your information, I have listened to Rush but I found his show boring, intellectually absurd, and factually incorrect. One example of his stupidity was when he was trying to quote Obama's position on something and his staff gave him some facts that turned to be a spoof, yet druggie Rush couldn't bring himself to admit he was wrong when it brought to his attention that not only was it a spoof, but that it was factually incorrect. Then just this recent episode with Ms. Fluke. Just the idea that he called her a "slut, whore, prostitute" was unconscionable, factually incorrect, slanderous, & absurd. I doubt he even heard a word she said. As someone with 5 sisters, I asked 3 of them to explain their point of view concerning the contraceptive arguments, and all 3 examined that it could easily cost a lot more money than Rush stated. The point is he was pandering to his flock, mostly ignorant morons. Thank goodness that the vast majority of good

1) Rush didn't slander anyone anymore than Bill Maher, Maxine Waters, Sheila Jackson Lee, Al Sharpton, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz or our own VP Biden did. Contrary to what you may 'feel', it is fact that we have a 1st Amendment that gives us Freedom of Speech.
2) You have no way of knowing whether 90+% of us watched/heard/read the 'testimony' of Ms. Fluke - you are simply conjecturing your opinion. Which is useless but hey, don't let that stop you...
3) Re: the CBO - if doubling the size of something is a 'small tweak' to you then please move to Greece. They like your kind of math there... By the way, the only link I can find to support your theory comes from here

I'll weigh in on my opinion here - the dems are the ones who show their dishonestly on a constant basis. They also show routinely how they are NOT the working man's friend. After all, you don't see us on the right threatening the sponsors and advertisers of Bill Maher. Nor do you see us threatening the constituents of Maxine Waters or Sheila Jackson Lee. The dems on the other hand, routinely harrass and threaten those they don't agree with. How do I know? I live in Wisconsin - where we the conservatives aren't taking it anymore. At least Rush has never said VILE things about children as Mahr continuously does. And Mahr does not limit himself to children who haven't injected themselves into public eye.
The attacks on Rush are bigger than Rush. If they can silence Rush and infringe on his freedom of thought & opinion by silencing his speech, who do you think is next? Us. I know he apologized and his reasons for doing so are valid. I started listening to Rush years ago and grew to respect him because he said he says things that are truth and because truth is becoming so rare in America, what he says sounds too tough and outrageous. He always reiterated that he says things that everyone is thinking but no one has the guts to say it. That is one reason I got hooked on his show years ago.
The premise of his question is still unanswered by the left. What do you call a person who wants to be paid to have sex? Fluke freely chose to bear the tuition costs of a private university which is more expensive than a state university. Why can't she afford to pay for contraception but yet afford to pay tens of thousands to a private university? I applaude these advertisers for recognizing its about censureship not about Rush.

Any snail mail I get for his former advertisers, I put Rush's name, phone, email and a fictitous address in Port St. Lucie on the postcard and send it back.

There used to be a saying that those on both the left and right said as a 1st amendment mantra: `I may not agree with what you are saying but I will defend your right to say it.`Whatever happened to that philosophy in America and especially in the DOJ? It seems that all the left and DOJ does these days is go after people for political correctness. Wiping any reference of Islam in terrorist documents in law enforcement, going after Rush, etc..etc...

With all companies, it comes down to the bottom line and potential clients. Limbaugh has a client base of roughly 20-25 million viewers. Only a complete dope like Carbonite would reject that kind of potential profit. And how'd that work out for them? Their stock is in the tank.
Boycotts are a two-edged sword that cuts both ways. Any smart businessman/woman knows that.
