The problem here is that until the present GOP leadership is removed, all of this hand wringing and strong words and radio interviews mean nothing. If the priority of Mr. West and the other conservatives in the House is not to remove Boehner and Cantor before attempting to move forward, then they are effectively playing the same "Kabuki Dance" with the American people. I like what Mr. West said... I just am not buying it. Until I see some action that is meaningful, which must start with removing present leadership, then it's all just words to me.
Ya...well if West is so great...where was he standing up BEFORE this all came to pass? And, where was he during this last Defense Bill that was passed and now can intern US Citizens without due process? He voted FOR it. These politicians all have their heads up their collective butts.
Consider the reputation of his opponent in that election, it as a major pooch-screw on the part of the Arizona GOP.
Boehner needs to be replaced by Allen West.
McConnell needs to be replaced by Jim DeMint or Marco Rubio.
We don't need our leadership to be feckless, incoherent boobs who have no principles, no charisma, and no cojones -- especially when there are real conservatives available.
2012 is coming - and we need to elect THE MOST CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATES possible.
The only concern I have is that by 2016, the Chief Usurper will unilaterally suspend all future elections, and declare himself as POTUS forever. The sniveling group of Republicans we currently have would probably go along with it (West and Rubio excepted of course)!
West and Rubio have let me down. The best leaders in my opinion are those who feel inadequate and do not seek the duties of leadership. They are the antithesis of a McCain or Obama. You do it because you are called, because it is necessary. Maybe we just didn't call loud enough. If this current group fails us, it is over.
Alan West is a true and honorable patriot tempered by serving in the Middle East. He has proved himself by doing the right things throughout his life. For the Left to hate someone like Col. West as they do, i can only conclude they must be racists.
I know, the Mayan calendar says armageddon Dec. 21, 2012. There have been many predictions when the world will end, if Obama doesn't cause a nuclear war first.
Okay, West is seriously starting to regain my respect now. He is doing something rather then talking now...Good on you Col. West!

That is a great ticket, but I support Gingrich right now.
The lamestream media is trashing Newt for "historical" baggage. All politicians have baggage if we dig deep enough, but the lamestream/left socialists won't expose democrats, they love the big zero/Obama. Newt has made his mark with his "Contract with America," a contract he fulfilled that no other politician can match.
