A lot of us knew a year ago this would be the way it would turn out. Colonel West is to be commended on his efforts to inform the people. He's a leader and a true statesman. I just can't say that enough.
That will happen when hell freezes over, but God bless Allen West for challenging Obama on this. I do believe it will be one more nail in the coffin of his presidency.
It's time to stop calling on the president for anything. It's time to ignore him, and take control in the House. Cut off funding tomorrow - Monday. Just close the checkbook, fly the big middle finger, and ignore any and all protests by the Obama Administration and the loser republicans and insane dems. Stop talking. Start doing. All I keep hearing is speeches and tough talk from conservatives, but nothing of substance ever gets done.

Someone needs to get in the WH in January (maybe sooner after the whole regime there now does the perp walk prior to Nov!), get rid of - or greatly diminish because of closely watching ALL mosques in America (no such thing as moderate islam, sorry!) BAN all aspects of Sharia Law in America. Close border to ANY immigrants until we close the deficit and get organized again. STOP the madness that is being done everywhere on purpose by all the dictators in the world, starting in DC.
Obama WANTS the Muslim Brotherhood in power. There was a good interview on Morning Joe when Mubarak was thrown out. This guy stated point blank that (paraphrasing) "we now know that Obama was trying to get the Muslim Brotherhood in power, but that the Army controls support and they won't go for it." So they dropped it. But now, it's Obama's wildest dream coming true. He won't do a damn thing. It also explained why Obama told Mubarak to step aside.
He basically did the same thing in Libya, but actually used our military to accomplish it. The US record in the middle east isn't very good concerning this kind of thing. Just look at what we are getting for our efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq. Syria is going to be the same. If we ever hit Iran, it will be the same as the rest. I say "let Israel deal with middle eastern terrorism, and get out of the way". We fund Israel, but also fund their enemies.

Good for West. He is sounding a lot like Col. Shaffer. Would like to see Shaffer run for congress.

Well said, but I think you'll stand a better chance of having Obama do the limbo with Iran’s "President" Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Obama would never do all that because, if he did, he would have to admit that he was all wrong about the "Arab Spring." And the Messiah would never, ever, do that. Only Romney winning in November will help get us out of this mess.
How a Republican can call this the first steps to democracy is beyond me. The Muslim Brohterhood has lied from day one, and they will impose Sharia Law as sure as I'm standing.
Obama won't pay any attention to West and this will be spun as democracy and a future for freedom. Mark my words, this will be used as another success story by the left.

Waste of time. Obama is no friend of freedom. I would go even further. Any Muslim nation that is unwilling to denounce Hamas, Hizbollah, AQ, the subjigation of women and the stifling of dissent on Islam, should be cut off from all US aid.
As much as I love Mr. West, this has been their plan all along. No mistake about it. And that is real nightmare. What will happen in Libya?...and now that Saudis are funding the "rebels" in Syria, what ruling figure will emerge I wonder... hm, perhaps the MB or will that be just another ironic coincidence? Though I do agree that watching a Congressman all-but flashing pom-poms and doing air-splits on TV with total elation was sickening! That Morsi won in a "secular" nation who made him promises on many visits to Egypt over the past few months somehow seemed to be a sign of good faith? Should we check his bank accounts for large contributions? Or perhaps speak with Huma Abedin, Hillary's left-hand, and find out how her family ties in with this? Huma’s links to a family that is directly tied to the Muslim Brotherhood, including her brother and mother, creates a question that no one on earth can easily answer.

The left played this off as a march to freedom and democracy, and they will claim this is what happened. They don't even wanna know what evils they have unleashed between Libya, Egypt and soon to be Syria. Christians better run for their lives.

Ah!! A perfect chance to bring up a question that I thought of while I was at work today.
So, I'm pretty sure that the Muslim Brotherhood will install Sharia Law in Egypt. I heard on the radio during lunch (news flash) that this is Egypt's first democratic election, and it hit me. What are the chances of there ever being another one? It's not like Sharia Law is compatible with any other type of system or ideology. Once you have Sharia Law, how can you have another democratic election?
I read somewhere last year that the guy that was the prime instigator in this was actually brought over, quietly, during the Bush presidency for training so for some reason it appears that this is what our government wanted.

What a hugely strong stand! Way to go Rep. West! By the time we get to say "I told you so", not that that is what I want, it will be too late. I used to like Rep. Dreier but I think this is a prime example of why so many conservatives feel the GOP left them.
Isn't Dreier the head of the rules committee? Seems that he is gutless and unwilling to find ways to get legislation up for a vote. Steve King tried to get a resolution passed to stop the funding on O-care but no, Dreier played dead and into the hands of the Pelosi machine. Dummy. His strings may be being pulled by Boehner, I'll admit.
So Drier's a man without principle. Let's tell it like it is. And let's unload him and Repubs like him at the first opportunity.
I believe this is just the way Obama wanted it to turn out in Egypt. Obama is a traitor.
