It didn't have a damn thing to do with sequestration you moronic weasel. Oh and I know a couple of Marines that are real hot under the collar right now. When you die Hairy, I know you think you're going to rule some cloudy realm of your own. I got news for your sorry a$$, the only thing that you're going to inherit is a reserved spot in the realm of the damned. And I would be pleased to know where your putrid body will be laid. I want to make a special trip there so that I can pi$$ on your grave. Just for the record I'm also speaking for my USMC friends.

This is the same POS that declared "The war is over", before Bush wanted the troop surge. It is very sad that a man who makes a career out of trashing our military hero's can become a Senate Majority Leader.

I'd like Reid to do a lot worse than apologize or resign.
He's a vile person (not a human being) and he's just dag nasty evil. We'd all be alot better off if he wasn't there.
I don't want anyone to think I'm treating this lightly... you don't mess with our military. Dirty Harry does it as an afterthought, on a whim - when it suits him. Otherwise, he's among those who would bad-mouth our heroes. He's rotten from the inside out. And this is almost unforgivable.

Col West is absolutely correct in telling Mr. Reid to apologize. Training dollars had nothing to do with this tragic event. All training budgets funds are procured for supplies, transportation, ammunition, logistic support (food fuel ect) and other necessary supplies and equipment needed to send troops to train at national training or local training areas where service women and men are stationed. Training with live munitions is inherently dangerous and risk assessments are required by the Department of Defense, the Department of the Air force, the Department of the Army, the United States Marine Corps and the Department of the Coast Guard. These risk assessments have but one focus; to reduce the risk of training or war casualties. Harry Reid should be so ashamed of his actions that to look in the mirror would cause him excruciating pain and embarrassment. Harry’s actions of using a tragic event to push political points demean every veteran who has bled and died doing the dangerous job of protecting this country. Service men and women train, that training is dangerous, but to use this as a “See, I told you so” moment is despicable. But Mr. Reid and others like him used the kids at Sandy Hook to do the same thing. I guess he and his ilk know no other way. Hey Mr. Reid…try telling the truth!

Reid is the poster child for liberal/progressive politics: Anything goes and nothing is sacred; he epitomizes 'the end justifies the means so go ahead and do it' mentality so prevalent of the left where rational thought is not an option.

We deserve better than the trash that's occupying this govt. now. This is so beneath this country. The day he had a car crash, I prayed he'd die. I hope he does soon, and I hope Boehner does also.
I hope it wasn't sabotage by one of the Nidal Hassan or Rashad Hussain types that have infiltrated the govt.

This is so sad. An elected US Senator goes to the Senate Floor and says this. It's really sad. Today, I'm worrying about how my grandchildren are being indoctrinated and, I don't know, and don't Boehner me for this, but it makes me cry. Cue Little Anthony.
