Can't BELIEVE no one has mentioned that Lt Col West quoted Sarah Palin in noting that one doesn't need a title to make a difference.
Two thoughts ... One, had Romney listened to Palin and picked West instead of that dead weight Paul Ryan, we might not be looking at four more years of that communist devil in the White House.
Two, Palin/West 2016 or nothing. Accept no substitutes!
May Allen West run for president. He is a true patriot. Defender of Freedom and America against all enemies foreign or domestic.
thank goodness! He always knew their just was not enough votes in his favor, no matter how many times you counted, recounted, contested, etc. He really should have respectfully conceded some time ago but ego is a powerful thing. Yes, I'm black but I could never ever stand by Allen West and his ideals. Just far too extreme for me.
You are a black American. You have suffered the discrimination that being black in this country used to mean. A man like Allen West appears on the scene. Believes in Freedom. Believes in our Constitution. Has a military record. Fought for this country.

Also, you can't have it both ways, many have said black people voted Obama because he was black, but the truth is historically we vote dem,do a little digging and you will realize Gore and kerry recievec a considerable chunk of the black vote. Honestly we can go all day about what a republican said or what a democrat said. Fox has said many, many things about Obama but all is fair in love and war, they were trying to win an election so I was not offended or concerned. Not sure how you've come to the conclusion that I'm all about race (?) but I would never ever cry racism when it wasn't clear thats what is was. You are free to disagree with his policies no matter the color, and I get that. If you knew me, you wouldn't be surprised and you would prabably find that I am a reasonable person.
Knowing who Mia Love and Marco Rubio are and thinking you know who they are due to the LameStream diatribe are two totally different things. People don't call your ideas idiotic just because they disagree with you. They call them idiotic because they're idiotic.
Obama spent his entire 1st term lambasting one group after another (and there were a lot of groups he attacked). He used class warfare to convince people like you that someone else was bad for you. Every time you open your mouth, you prove that you follow the narrative they (Obama and his media) have set for you.
If you want to hitch your wagon to that sort of philosophy, more power to you. But don't try to blow smoke up our back sides by saying your side is more inclusive than the other side. You will find plenty of open dialog on this site, and that includes calling you out when you spew garbage, no matter how much you want to be like Obama and denigrate us for saying it.
The more we dialog, the more we find that you have nothing but race to argue on. I'm surprised you haven't called us racist yet. After all, we do disagree with the policies of a black man.

When people (like you) start looking at someone's policies rather than their skin color, you will be far better off politically and fiscally. There was nothing eloquent about white531 's hate speech, but he has absolutely every right to express himself as do I. You still can not deny the truth that more blacks, latinos and most minorities fall under democrat, I really don't care what you say about the primaries. Honestly , it would be nice if more blacks were apart of the republican constituency because maybe then republicans would understand where we are coming from. White didn't need to disrespect you. You did that to yourself. The line that Blacks just vote Democratic doesn't hold water when you look at the primary race between Obama and Clinton. If you just voted Democratic, then their contest would have been 50-50 instead of the 90% that voted for Obama over Clinton.
Plus, using Gore and Kerry as examples has no bearing on a race between a Black man and a White man. Granted Blacks are still foolishly on the Democratic plantation, but they should wake up and look around them. Show me what Obama has done for this country in the last four years (and don't give me that same old talking point that he pulled us from the cliff crap) and then explain why that warranted a greater vote than in '08.

Disrespecting the office of Potus and deeming everyone communists who disagreed with him. To me yes, its too extreme for my taste.

I hope you're right Scoop... I would 100% support him for President. But it may be too late for America if a man of this caliber was defeated by an obvious idiot.
Voting for gay to marry and fight in our wars, legalizing marijuana, voting for handouts instead of helping ourselves. This is what happens when we turn our backs on God.
What a shame, but as others have stated, West has a higher calling. Our RINO party did nothing to help or support him.
We do need to regroup and come back fighting like we did in 2010.

For two weeks since Election Day, we have been working to ensure every vote is counted accurately and fairly. We have made progress towards that goal, thanks to the dedication of our supporters and their unrelenting efforts to protect the integrity of the democratic process. While many questions remain unanswered, today I am announcing that I will take no further action to contest the outcome of this election.
While there are certainly still inaccuracies in the results and the actions of the St. Lucie County and Palm Beach County Supervisors of Elections rightly raise questions in my mind and for many voters, after much analysis and yesterday’s recount in St. Lucie County, our legal team does not believe there are enough over-counted, undercounted or fraudulent votes to change the outcome of the election.
While a contest of the election results might have changed the vote totals, we do not have evidence that the outcome would change. Given the extremely high evidentiary hurdles involved in a successful challenge, I will not ask my generous supporters to help fund a drawn-out, expensive legal effort with little chance of success. Therefore, we will not contest the certification or challenge the seating of Congressman-Elect Murphy.
Serving the people in the House of Representatives has been among the highest honors of my life, but this seat does not belong to me, or for that matter, to any individual. It belongs to the people. I want to congratulate my opponent, Patrick Murphy, as the new Congressman from 18th Congressional District. I pray he will serve his constituents with honor and integrity, and put the interests of our nation before his own.
I must thank my wife Angela, and my daughters Aubrey and Austen for their support, patience, understanding and most of all, love. These are three of the toughest women I know. They have sent me off to defend our nation overseas at war and to Capitol Hill to serve our nation in the House of Representatives. They have all handled the challenges of these last few months, and the last many years, with amazing grace. I know they will be my side for whatever is our next chapter.
I must also thank my congressional and campaign staff for their service, and most importantly, I must thank you and our other tremendous supporters who provided their time and money to power our campaign. I am humbled by the dedication and perseverance of our supporters, and their commitment to a free and prosperous America. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for our campaign, but most importantly, what they have done, and will continue to do for our country. None of us should let the outcome discourage us. We should only redouble our resolve.
Above all, I want to thank God for his blessings, and for blessing me with the opportunity to serve.
Only God knows what is in store for each of us. I have dedicated my life to serving this nation, and the results of this election will not change my purpose. Just as I did in the deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan, just as I did on Capitol Hill, I will continue to fight for our Republic.
Our nation will not overcome our challenges overnight ,and the road ahead for each one of us will not be easy. But this nation would never have become that shining beacon of light if our founders had chosen the easy path 236 years ago. We all must proudly continue their legacy.

I blame the Rhino Republicans in Congress who aloud for this outcome to happen in the first place. By redistricting his district which the Colonel won 2years ago to one that was heavily democratic.
They wanted this true Constitutional Conservative out of the house in the worse way and they did it by redistricting. My how we kill our own.
As much as I dislike the Democratic party and all that it stands for. I have to admit that at least they will steal and cheat and do what ever is necessary to get their own elected and they will continually stand by them no matter what.

I hope Allen West continues to seek office come 2016. We cannot afford to let this man go by the wayside and forgotten. He is one of the last hopes this country has to save itself. Allen West for President in 2016!!! Now-that sounds good to me...
It's Tea Time. We need to regroup. Four years ago we woke up, now it's time to REALLY take action. We have 2 years. Now let's get it done.
Makes me wonder if the fact that Romney was nominated if many tea Party people just stayed home.......If so it is a shame cause we lost a warrior like west.
Well I am glad I am in a club with you Wolfie...even if it is pitiful at the moment. I put my faith in God so I will pull out of this as I know you will too!
Well, with both "re-tabulations" he received, he ended up with less votes after each of them. (FOX continued to report West gained 132 votes after the 3 day recount but he did not. He LOST 132 votes.)
I think West expected a big score after this second recount and didn't get it. He also only netted 3 more votes than Murphy after the military votes were counted. If the votes aren't there, you can't produce them out of your hat. I hope West's supporters can now stop harping at Gertrude Walker and refrain from calling her a communist, a fraud, a cheat when she admitted right away there was a counter problem and recounted the 3 days in question. I guess if your candidate loses, you can place blame EVERYWHERE but on the candidate?
I like him too but what did he actually do? We get excited about them when they are running but once they get elected they disappear. As I recall he voted for the debt ceiling increase. So how is he different form anybody? His often outlandish remarks didn't help him either. What is the point of calling Democrats official members of the communist party or saying get the hell out of the US? Why should anybody leave the country for political reasons? He would have been more useful if he voted the right way or organized a following for himself in the Congress. The never seem to make the transition from a candidate to a legislator.
To begin with, unlike nearly all Freshmen who get sent to the basement offices, West did not bend over and lick the boots of the establishment elephants. He stood up and stood his ground from day one despite a full blown assault form the left, the media and hi own party.
Most importantly he stood up and spoke out against the islamization of America, and those in our government who does islam's bidding.
He made some strategic and tactical decisions - but he did not cave to the political class.
I still think it was fraud.....But for some reason no one wants to touch election fraud.
because, if exposed, election fraud this blatant and institutionalized, implicates both Parties and the media.
Even more reason to look into it......Would be nice if we actually had a Media who looked out for the people.
