Seems he was wrong with regard to cutting 100 billion off of the federal budget. It turns out that even though the total was 39 billion, when compared to last year almost no cut. Way to go repubs, keep this up and our republic might last another 20 years.

I can't recall when I've trusted anyone more than Col. West. He speaks with intelligence and sincerity, with devotion to America and democracy in general.

Just what has the fact that there are criminals in the military have to do with West? We have criminals everywhere, if there were no criminals in the military we would have no need of the UCMJ would we? As far as the extension of the three surveillance provisions goes,they still have to pass the Senate and be signed by the President. He's saying all the right things, but can he persuade his fellow republicans to bring them to realilty - let us all hope so! We need more politicians to speak out like this.

wow i loved this so much. i am completely blown away. that was beautiful. he pulled no punches. extremely good speech. I LOVE HIM!!!! palin/west!! i was already for palin/west but this speech solidifies it even more. he was thorough, effective, hit point after point, absolutely incredible speech. i was moved.

What's your real problem? Raceism can't be the real reason. Why are you angry? What is the real problem? I believe there will be more blacks in heaven than whites. Those blacks did not need to play the race card. They loved as they were loved by God. They left there hate behind. Open your eyes.
