America getting played for a fool? Chinese government supposedly grants Chinese dissident to ‘study abroad’

I emphasize ‘supposedly’ because I don’t believe this for one moment. China makes ‘promises’ to America, our people fly out of China and Chen Guangcheng and his family are never seen or heard from again. That’s how I think this is going to go down.

America is getting played for a fool:

DAILY MAIL – A blind Chinese activist could be in America ‘within days’ after he was offered a fellowship from a U.S. university just hours he gained clearance to study abroad, paving the way for a political resolution between America and China.

The Chinese government this morning gave Chen Guangcheng, the human rights lawyer who has spent the last seven years in prison or under house arrest, permission to apply to study abroad.

And now, a US State Department spokesman has revealed that an American university has offered sanctuary to Chen and his family.

‘Mr Chen has been offered a fellowship from an American university, where he can be accompanied by his wife and two children,’ Victoria Nuland said.

She said the Beijing is expected to process their application for travel documents ‘expeditiously’ and that ‘the United States government would then give him and his immediate family priority attention,’ raising the prospect of Chen entering the U.S. within days.

The announcement comes a day after he pleaded with U.S. President Barack Obama to help him escape China. …

The Chinese foreign ministry said in a statement on its website that Chen would be allowed to study overseas ‘in accordance with laws of relevant departments’ but did not give any further details.

I will gladly eat my words if I am wrong.
