Amen! I am grateful for stories like this, although sad because there are not more of them. I thank God my birth mom chose to give me life and a life by giving me up. It’s a hard choice, but less hard than choosing death. Thank you Lord for letting this woman be here to tell her story- and thanks for posting this on the Right Scoop.

My birthmom decided life for me too instead of an abortion. Its so sad for me though when people talk to me without knowing my story about how those “women” have a right to their own bodies when it is not their body their hurting.

CBN, is kind of impressing me lately… especially with their political/war on terror coverage.

Wow. Shared, thank you.

Great video, thanks. Indeed, when we look through history and think of times like the Holocaust and other great atrocities, we think to ourselves, “How could the normal people of that society accept such evil?”
Well, one only need look at the situation today with abortion to find the answer. The same, normal people who accept that the unborn are not worthy of life today are the same, normal people who accepted that Jews were not worthy of life.

It’s a great story, and should help people to reconsider late-term abortions.

This is a great story. Doesn’t change my viewpoints on the issue of abortion, but it’s a good one. This just gives me an example to use against those who say that “God” holds all human life to be sacred. If that’s the case, then wouldn’t this be the case every single time as opposed to being a rare gem? Just something to chew on.

Without answering your question directly consider this also. His will is that all would be saved and no one perish. This has always been the case, but God never forces his will on anyone and not everything that happens is his will. By this I mean that people make wicked decisions every day and he does not force that which is right to occur to have a good outcome. His desire is that people worship and serve him because they love him and not for any other purpose. Not everyone loves the Lord, nor has a heart to serve him. In the Bible there were indeed people that the Lord had raised up before they were even born for a certain purpose, but that doesn’t mean that he didn’t mean that others should die in an abortion or as an infant. Most women getting abortions are doing so because they aren’t living a life according to his will and in many cases people suffer and die. (Though this has nothing to do with a possible change in their heart later on.) Happen and chance happen to all that do not have the Lord in their hearts and anything can happen to them (this is also Bible). Those that consider God in their lives even before they are saved are given a chance to be saved. Considering God in their lives could just be a tenderness towards other people or that they just be looking for what is missing in their lives, or just trying to find the true way to worship him. We cannot know Gods mind, but there are plenty of scriptures that give us some insight into some of how he does things. Chance happens to all men, but those that he finds with a heart that might later serve him will be spared until he determines that point has passed. He will never allow any disaster to happen to those that really love him or may love him. The righteous is never forsaken and will never be destroyed. NOTE: There is obviously much more that can be said on this subject, especially concerning individual people that die. People wonder how the Lord can allow people to die or be destroyed in storms or earthquakes, but they never consider that since their hearts are not intent on serving him the way he wants to be served that he doesn’t see they are in danger at all because they have not been brought “alive” to him. The exceptions are that he is angry with the wicked every day and the nations that forget God will be turned into Hell. See Deuteronomy 32:21-25 The “lowest Hell” is described here as hunger, etc. The Lord does bring about disasters and people do die in them, but many times he is trying to remind others of how delicate their own lives are and to get their attention, hoping eventually they will be saved. Now don’t be saying that just because someone died that he didn’t have a purpose other than their destruction. There is plenty that happens here that we will never really understand as long as we are breathing oxygen…

I picked this sentence from you to pinpoint my point.
“He will never allow any disaster to happen to those that really love him or may love him.”
To suggest this is to suggest that babies who die in the abortion process (yes…even though I’m pro-choice, I have no illusion that abortion is a form of murder) would not have loved “God.” I mean…after all…they’re not even given a chance and “God” allows it. Right?

Dangit…stupid editing still isn’t working for me. Grrr….
Anyway…keep in mind that I believe in “God,” the “soul,” and the immortality of both of these, so there’s no need to give me that in any potential reply. I just meant what I describe here from the Earthly point of view only.

“He will never allow any disaster to happen to those that really love him or may love him.” I would strongly disagree with you on this point. The scriptures are full of accounts of believers and followers who “really love[ed]” Him. For example, Job, from the Old Testament; or how about His Apostles, most of whom met with violent deaths at the hands of those who hated Jesus Christ? The righteous do often suffer, and often at the hands of evil. Their blood will stand as witness against evil at the day of judgement.

Beautiful! Every life has a purpose! What a wonderful story! Thanks for posting this!
Wow, this really got to me. I’m still a little teary eyed as I write this, as her story is such a powerful example of God’s love, mercy, and kindness. And since I know Him too, it’s especially profound. I would write more but my words won’t do it justice.
