As much of a myth as Al Gore's "Global Warming" or Jorge Wahabbi Bush's "Islam means "Peace"".....
Good Lord don't people know anything anymore? Jew=Judaism the religion of the Judean People=from the ancient kingdom nation of Judea as carved in stone on the Arch of Titus...still sitting on the Via Sacra in Rome since 82AD for all to see.... The Jews, or Judeans, are directly comparable to, say, the Italian, Scottish, Irish or German communities living outside of their ancestral nation-states however the Jews had theirs invaded and destroyed.
I wonder what the Arab-Jewish conflict over the REGION of Palestine has in common with the Spaniard-Portuguese Reconquista?

What the hell is a "Palestinian"? The region of Palestine has never been a country state or nation. Therefore, any factual base would dictate this being as much as a fallacy as Al Gore's "Global Warming". Neither Moses, David, Jesus nor Muhammad knew any either?
The Fakestinians could have had their own country in '48 but their hatred of the Jews prevented them from accepting the solution.

Would you not, at the very least, make certain that the people that hate you and your children are stopped and searched for bombs before coming into your neighborhood? Of course you would. And by the way, the West Bank was a phrase made up by the Brits in the seventies. Her name is Judea and Sumeria. Ju----dea- Jews! I don't know you, and I don't want to know you. You are terribly dishonest and please appreciate that I am not just writing this as a Jew. I am that. But I am a great American. My friends are Christians, Catholics, Jews, they are Asians, Whites, Blacks, and all those in between. We understand this amazing beautiful country and yes... believe it or not we are all conservatives. We love our country and are tired of you in the media that, rather than report the news, shape the news.

It's no better lending credence to the false term "West Bank" than it is "Palestinians".
Andrea Mitchell intentionally and deliberately attempts to paint the instigators and perpetrators of terrorism, as the victims of their own terrorist acts, thus having to endure their own consequences of their own acts.. That's what's really offensive, that she and her ilk treat the public with utter contempt, and intellectually insult us, the public, by trying to pass off a false narrative lie as the truth.
She is not fooling anyone of course, except those who already entertain and subscribe to their anti-semitic anti-Israeli hate filled view.
To people like Andrea Mitchell, journalistic integrity is something they read of in past history pages of journalism that once was in America. What she and all of her biased prejudiced so-called journalists do, is to start off with their ending narrative, then fill in the rest of their story line with distorted facts and lies, to fit their agenda driven story line.

No capital for Israel because the Obama administration doesn't believe that Israel is even a nation. Besides, the original nation of Palestine existed within Jordan. Everyone loves to focus on how "offended" Palestinians are. It's a mindless belief in some nonexistent "people." If only some of the eastern libs would read some history, they'd know there never was a country called "Palestine" with its own, Palestinian people.
Do they speak Palestinian? Can they locate the capital of a country called Palestine? (Other than simply declaring Jerusalem as their capital, even though no government meets there.) No, they cannot. They are a mixture of mostly Arab people from the surrounding region, most of whom moved into the area after the Jews began buying land and creating jobs.
The name is an invention of arafat (can't capitalize that name) from when they started the myth of some sort of native arab population in the area. That's why they should only ever be referred to as arabs.

So the question to ask is why don't Palestine want to be more like Israel?

Yeah, the Fakestinians have no relation to the Philistines. They died out long ago.
They are believed to have originated in the Grecian Isles, possibly even a mix of Greeks and Peoples that lived along the coast of what is now Turkey.
Addendum: Their origin kinda-sorta predates Islam by, oh, only a couple of thousand or so years, but their "supporters" just kind of overlook that.

Uh....if it takes palestinains an hour to go two miles and that makes them late to work....leave an hour earlier and get to work on time. Easy solution. Finding terrorist bombers should be that easy, but it's not and Israel is going to protect its citizens to the best of their ability. Why don't bleeding heart liberals like Ms. Mitchell ever worry about the security and safety of Israelis?????? When was the last time an Israeli slipped into the Gaza Strip and bombed a school full of kids, or a packed bus????? Correct, that's a tactic of Hamas and its ilk, so the Israelis are going to be cautious when gets into Israel. Good for them.
