He is talking about the biggest threats then. Yet the biggest threat right now is the return of Muslim Brotherhood clerical leaders like Sheik Yousef Al Qaradawi to Egypt and Rashid Al-Ghanushi to Tunisia. Until recently were in forced exile by the now defunct dictators of those two countries.
We do not yet know how Libya is going to turn out if Gaddafi is forced out. Yet we know that this administration is unclear about the identity of the rebels. In fact, there is an article at the Drudge that reports that the true Libyan rebels are growing tired of the war and are running out of ammunition. The probability, that the rebels fighting against Gaddafi’s troops are from the well-organized Muslim Brotherhood, is just very high. Imagine the outcome of this war if MB seizes Libya like they just did Tunisia and Egypt. Most of Northern Africa will be passed over to radicalists who will enforce Sharia law by force. This is a terrible thought.
I just hope we win; then again, I hope NATO wins since they are replacing our troops.

We had no idea the context of his support back then. It’s a wonder Hillary did as well as she did.
I must admit, it was refreshing to hear an extemporaneous cadence from the President…..a respite from the tennis match, bobble head of the teleprompter.
