As I said in the original post: He didn't want to lose the 350K per episode, can make these comments because he isn't in the last two episodes AND all the contracts expire at the end of the year. The show is probably going to be canceled anyway.
He's a kid who found truth in spite of the bizzaro world of decadent liberal TV sitcoms, he was raised in. I'll cut him lots of slack. He's more of a role model than any of the young people on TV at present. (Any I know of anyway). His problem is he was to honest. What ever his contract says about what he's done believe me they will let him know about it. It's a despicable show and my only hope is he's saved lots of money so he can live a comfortable life after he leaves. How any parent would allow their child to be exposed to this from an early age is beyond me.
He's young and I think when some people come to the Lord at that age they can be over zealous. I certainly don't know the young man and, although I've seen the show, I'm not a regular viewer. But he may be exactly where God wants him to be. I think that Hollywood could benefit from having more people of faith living and working amongst them. Certainly couldn't hurt.
Hopefully, his money has been well-managed through the years and he doesn't have to worry about getting fired from the show. I'd be more concerned about the producers suing him over his remarks. It is never easy being a witness for Christ. Doing so in Hollywood may not be as bad as doing so in Egypt, but it's gotta be Hell.
When yesterday I said I don't get easily excited over nothing some didn't like it. When will you learn?
I get a kick out of the media who are 'shocked' that he would speak out against this 'wholesome' show, but then are relieved when he retracts his rant. It only shows where their morals are anyway.
Only time will tell whether Angus has truly found Jesus or merely found another Reverend Moon (ie, the Forerunner). My hopes are that he will not be swayed by any false religion and does come into the light. Only time will tell.
You might not know this, but Seventh Day Adventists are a true, Christian church of people who believe that the one true God is the God of heaven - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as one. That Jesus sacrificed His life, the only sinless life ever, to pay our penalty for our sins, and through faith we accept the gift and give our lives to Him. A good society requires justice, and a decent society requires mercy. God shows both through this sacrifice. Through His love we love others and as we love Him, He enables us to keep all 10 of His commandments (1 John 14:15). These are the moral laws, not the ceremonial laws nailed to His cross. We believe that the seventh day referred to in the commandment is Saturday (check it out), and that Jesus will return soon, hence the name Seventh Day Adventist.
Forgive me if I appeared to be dissing the Seventh Day Adventists. I was in no way doing that. You may not know this, but this group he seems to be with is a radical offshoot of them, not necessarily mainstream. There are radical Christian faiths everywhere, but that doesn't make Christians on the whole radical. All I'm saying is time will tell whether he truly found Jesus or just a cult.

No problem and thanks for your comments. I agree with your "offshoot" thoughts. Had them myself. I don't know the kid's particular church, but if my understanding of the story is correct, the interview was done by the people at "Voice of Prophesy" which is legitimate and was founded by the late H. M. S. Richards who, by all accounts was a very Christian man.
Aside from this kid killing his career by expressing a Christian prospective, this whole topic is about as important to me as "Snooki's' bra size.
I echoed his sentiments several years ago. Haven't watched since. Not missing much. Don't really care.
Hope this kid ends up having a good life away from the leeches in showbiz.
He is likely done with this show and may already be in the process of "dying off" in a future show. It's hard to be a conservative, let alone a "Christian" in Hellywood.
I applaud his stance and brave position. If he is indeed born again, then his treasure will be in Heaven, where moth and rust cannot corrupt it.
These ladies on NBC sure seem really cavalier about it all don't they? Those zany Christians!
Actually, this is a good thing for the show. What if he gets saved on the show? Hmmmm... Sparks could really fly then.
Shame on the church and pastor for exploiting this young man. I've always felt that famous converts should be allowed time to grow and mature in their faith prior to making public announcements.
Mormons have had their time in the sun... now it's time for Seventh Day Adventists. It's only fair. [sarc off]
Good on the kid, making right from an extended family that probably helped raise him. Glad that he's not taking anything back, though; shows he has a spine.
It's probably time for that show to disappear anyway. How many 'hits' can it take? I haven't watched it, but it's time(too many complaints). The little kid is now growing up and they lost their other claim to fame. Can't carry on anymore.
Meh. They'll just recast the kid. Next season, Jake will be played by Ted Danson.
Kathy Griffin.
Hey! It's already established that the show is filth... just putting the cherry on the top.
Pretty sure he has a contract that forbids bad mouthing the show. They have already shown that the parts are interchangeable when Sheen left and that child who refuses to grow up took his place, whatever his name is...
“appreciates their support, guidance and love over the years.”
