I can’t watch. I’m sick of stupid liberals. Did you see all those morons standing up and clapping during the SOTU last night? I think you have to have absolutely no understanding of economics to qualify as a liberal. You certainly have to be clueless when you’re being lied to — that’s a given.
- StNikao
What is necessary to become a Liberal is a disconnect from reality and truth and a refusal to actually surrender to the authority and word of GOD. (See Romans 1:18-32) You go by feelings and wishes, instead. Otherwise, you can’t believe all that stuff they say.
Cain was the first Liberal. The Liberal theme song is Frank Sinatra’s ‘I did it my way.’

Everybody handled this the wrong way.
At my first Tea Party in Ann Arbor at U of M[ichigan], we had a big guy that was disruptive, possibly emotionally unstable/disturbed and even threatening violence against a woman. The U of M Police: utterly worthless punks. They just stood by and did nothing. I took the guy aside and told him that even though he didn’t like what the woman was saying on stage, she had the right to Free Speech, just like he did. I explained to him that his constant disruptions showed that he was unwilling to allow others to have Constitutional Rights, and possibly showed a fear of others points of view. I made it clear that there were limits, and that if he wanted to be heard out, I could make arrangements, and possibly debate him, myself. He didn’t avail himself of those opportunities, but he did finally calm down.
The audience at Gingrich’s rally? Barely a step-up from thugs, themselves.
Just as the guy at the Tea Party was disruptive, there were people in the audience that were Conservatives or liberaltarians that took the bait, and became disruptive with him, and they had to be shushed, too. All the profanity and bullying had no place in that kind of setting. I’m CERTAINLY not excusing her stupidity, but they had no business jumping onto the short bus with her. Nobody there had a cool head; if they did, they would’ve handled that much differently, and possibly in a way that actually could’ve gotten a mature exchange of ideas. Really, Newt could’ve put a stop to that by offering to debate HER, if she calmed down and spoke rationally with him, but…
- http://twitter.com/doorsxp Doors Xp
I took the guy aside
What do you mean you took the guy aside? You asked him to step aside or did you physically move him? If all you did was ask him and he agreed, then you got lucky.
I explained to him…I made it clear….
So, you were dealing with a person who could be reasoned with? This was clearly not the case here, so I don’t buy your Mr. Nice Guy advice. From what I saw this stupid b**** was there for the sole purpose of disrupting. She wasn’t interested in a discussion, just disruption, no chance they “could’ve gotten a mature exchange of ideas”.
- http://black-avenger-1.livejournal.com/profile VirusX
No, all I did was say, basically, “Hey, come over here, for a minute”. “Luck” is for people like you. I don’t need it, and never have.
As for what you do, or don’t, believe, I hope you’re not under the impression that I give a rat’s ass what you think or believe. I’m not Tinkerbell, so your belief, or lack thereof, has no effect on my day, whatsoever. When I was in uniform, it was jerks like you that I usually ended up having to put the cuffs on. You’re too quick to open your mouth and say something stupid, as opposed to trying to say something that will CALM a tense situation. Look at the last guy I’d posted about, during the thread involving the school harassing a kid for expressing his theology-informed opinion on gay adoption. He’s pretty far left, and yet since I don’t talk to people like you probably do, the situation was left cooled and we had an understanding, without either of us having to eat crow. If you learn how to talk to people that are belligerent, without being so yourself, you’ll get a lot further. In the Army, if you’d run your big yap like that, you’d be injured or dead, because I dealt with Special Forces, SeALs, Force Recon and OPFOR Force 8. People like that don’t like name callers, like you, and make their feelings about that abundantly clear.
I have friends that are liberal, because they know I’m fair and will treat them intelligently, even if they can’t return the favor. They might not like my politics, but they certainly like me. At the conclusion of that Tea Party, I was getting thanked on how I handed the situation, and kept it from turning into something completely unnecessary.
The police would be hauling YOUR belligerent ass away.
- http://twitter.com/doorsxp Doors Xp
1) Calm down.
2) First you lecture that a disruptive person should be talked to calmly and coolly. Then, I point out a flaw in your argument, and do you handle it calmly and cooly? Nope, you get agitated and defensive, then start attacking:jerks like you
People like that don’t like name callers [hmm?], like you
The police would be hauling YOUR belligerent ass away.
3) Thanks for making my point by overreacting, contradictory to your own advice.
4) When you get challenged on something you’ve posted, try to keep a “cool head…and possibly in a way that actually could’ve gotten a mature exchange of ideas.”
5)In the Army, if you’d run your big yap like that, you’d be injured or dead
Watch the threats of violence, which don’t really sell on a message board; just sayin.
- http://black-avenger-1.livejournal.com/profile VirusX
There is no flaw in talking to people that are causing a disruption and finding a way to put a stop to it, without having people dragged away in cuffs, or assaulting them. Period. Stupid remarks like I “got lucky” only show that in a situation like that, you’re less than useless. As for my friends, again, I couldn’t care less what you think. If you don’t like liberals for existing, then grow a spinal column, go on my Facebook tell them that. After that, see if you can calm them down, when you run into them.
- http://twitter.com/doorsxp Doors Xp
My point is this: You got lucky because sometimes they just won’t listen to reason and your argument doesn’t account for that contingency. One can’t control someone else’s reaction.
You’re response is that you “don’t need [luck] and never have”, as though your calm voice can persuade any person regardless of their intentions. What if you ask the person to step aside and she ignores you and keeps disrupting? (Yes, it could happen.) Then what? Ask really really really really nicely? Just keep asking politely while she screams in your face?

“The audience was barely a step-up from thugs?”
Yeesh. Hysterical much? They came to hear someone speak. The woman, being extremely rude, was preventing that from happening. Yet you smear an entire audience as being “near-thug” because they didn’t like HER obnoxious, selfish behaviour. If I told you what I really think of you, I’d be banned from posting. You have some serious issues with right and wrong. I wish someone in the crowd (preferably a woman) had smacked her in the face and told her to shut-up. Rude behaviour should not be reasoned with. it should NOT be tolerated by the public. We are seeing more and more of this kind of behaviour from the left because it is being tolerated. Horrible behaviour should not be tolerated. If the instigator of such behaviour is met with bad behaviour, it is justifiable. - Anonymous

It’s a good thing that Newt has been referring to Alnsky when speaking of Obama. I can’t read Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals” because it is anathema to everything I believe. I couldn’t even get past the forward. I have read notes and quotes from it though.
The forward is telling and many of you have seen it. For those that have not, here it is:
“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”
Here is a page about Alinsky’s book with lots of quotes, notes and explanations. It also refers to Hillary, Obama and Bill Ayers as stalwart students of Alinsky. A crash course: http://www.crossroad.to/Quotes/communism/alinsky.htm
These folks are possessed…with darkness, destruction, evil of many kinds, envy, lies, distortion, and have an end in mind, that to them, justifies any means. They are treasonous, if that word has any meaning at all any longer. They want to overwhelm and crash the system. To know that folks think this way, is sobering, stomach churning…it’s bile inducing. They cannot be compromised with. They are like radical Islam. They must be met with overwhelming numbers and overwhelming rejection. They must be exposed as examples not to be emulated.
They are ensconced in our public schools, our colleges and Universities and in our government. They run rampant across our television screens and putrify our White House and both houses of Congress. A few reside for life in our Supreme Court. They infest our youth like viruses and parasites, teaching them to become walking, talking, reflections and facsimiles of the same. They are not a race of people, they are people from all walks of life who have contracted this mental, spiritual, and evil, nation-destroying disease.
We who love our founding and our founding principles, who love our Creator and honor truth, who would restore sound minds, sound politics and sound, sensible government, have much work to do. Somehow, minds must be renewed and retaught to regain our exceptionalism. We need a national revival of those ideals and those tenets, which rocketed us from obscurity to unparalleled greatness.
Please pray for our national renewal. We need human and Divine intervention.

If I had been on the newt campaign I would have dealt with her by pretending to be a journalist or political blogger and appealing to her attention seeking and asked her a bunch of questions about how terrible newt is, the republican party, maybe talked about the occupy movement, israel, you know usual topics of the left , .I would have had a lot of questions for her,and been very nice and listening to what she has to say .Hopefully it would have taken quite a bit of time up, and by then a police officer could remove her or she was out of steam.
. The problem with shouting her down and calling her names , is you disrupt newt more and embolden her .That guy who yelled in her ear or others who called her a moron, that is the kind of behaviour I would expect from obamabots. or ronulans. And strongarming her away, without a police officer is just asking for a full blown hit job from MSLSD.

I’m a bit disturbed by some of the remarks here as well as how this was handled by the campaign staffers. They didn’t defuse the situation well and this could have ended badly – and still may for the campaign staffer.
I know the disruptions are frustrating – believe me, I know. I live in a state where demonstrators are bussed in. They disrupt, yell and are often just down right rude and foul. However, as the party that holds to the constitution we shouldn’t be advocating a ‘smack down’ for someone who doesn’t agree and is verbal. This was a public venue and first amendment rights apply to all. If there is no immediate threat to anyone’s personal safety, then reacting in violence only turns the situation into a marketing tool for the left.
In this day and age, if too many so called violent incidents occur we could be looking at a heckler’s veto in the true legal sense. Be aware but keep a cool head and do not play into their hands.
- http://twitter.com/doorsxp Doors Xp
How do you suggest they should have handled this one?
- Anonymous
I suppose there’s not much that can be done if police aren’t moved to remove her. You DON’T want to be goaded into bad behavior in response.
- Amy
Doors Xp – you are just trolling for a fight. You already took on VirusX because you didn’t like the fact that he pointed out it was handled wrong. You don’t diffuse a situation by hollering in someone’s face, putting your hands on them and hitting a camerman. Becoming a mob similar to the Occupy crowd isn’t going to solve a damn thing. It didn’t here. It won’t in the future. If they’ve had their say and continue to heckle and disrupt, it’s within the rights of the organizer to have the police remove the person/s. Escalating a situation like some are sugggesting here is not going to help our cause. It’s playing right into the left’s hands.
But I suspect you already know this and are as I said just trolling for a fight.
- http://twitter.com/doorsxp Doors Xp
You post a “disturbed” lecture about “some of the remarks here” and the crowd in this clip, and yet don’t offer a plausible alternative, and I’m trolling? Pleeease. I just don’t buy into ideas akin to sitting down and singing kumbaya with the protester and watching the problem magically disappear.
Buried in your list of more things NOT TO DO you actually partially answer what you think they should DO:
If they’ve had their say and continue to heckle and disrupt, it’s within the rights of the organizer to have the police remove the person/s.
Fine, I say the police should have hauled her away. But VirusX said that the police did nothing to address the protester making violent threats. How does your solution apply in that case? VirusX says the way to handle it is to strike up a nice little chat with the troublemaker. I point out the holes in that approach and I’m trolling for a fight. Wow! We’ve got a defensive bunch of calmness-and-cool-headedness gurus on here I guess.
- Amy
I’m taking issue with some of the remarks here that are advocating what amounts to a ‘smack down’ of someone being loud. Do you know what the laws are in most places? Barring an assault on your person, you usually don’t have the right to hit or manhandle anyone. The police were at this event. The campaigner/staffers didn’t need to get physical. In fact now, the staffer is probably going to face charges. Think there aren’t some lefties that are going to do this just to provoke a fight. Think there aren’t some lawyers on the left trolling for a fight? Think the left isn’t looking for a way to shut us down? It’s naive to think that way.
I live in a state where the left makes everything difficult. Every get together in a public place, every town hall, every rally, every state of the state address, every session of our congress they are there looking for a fight. The last public rally had quite a few different interruptions. Had we decided to start shouting them down and shoving them around, it would have escalated and ended bad. Our crowd was polite but firm that this wasn’t their venue and the police removed them. They came looking for trouble and publicity – I don’t intend on giving them what they want. I don’t intend on playing into their hands and proving that us tea partiers are violent.
If you want to play it different than you better make sure you know exactly what the laws are where you’re at. The left will play nasty and make sure you are the one paying a heavy price for stepping outside the law.
- Anonymous
Freedom of speech does apply to all, as does the right of everyone else there to hear whomever is at the microphone with HIS freedom of speech.
The crowd chanting is about all that can be done, and I don’t like the “a@@hole!” yelling either, it doesn’t help, but the tactic of claiming “freedom of speech!” and then taking away the rights of everyone else there is silly.
- Amy
Google Heckler’s Veto and find out how and why it’s used. Look at it from a laymans term and from a lawyers term. If political events begin to turn violent, political events can be shut down. Think it won’t happen? Think again. All it takes is a few stupid decisions by people cruising for fight.
- http://www.facebook.com/people/Elee-Zimmerman/1186792881 Elee Zimmerman
You don’t like it? Don’t read here. The gal was a loon. Clearly. She was disturbing the peace, and, minimally, the crowd showed tremendous restraint and equal respect to someone so emotionally challenged with how to behave at a public event. And you may want to actually read some laws regarding public events; just b/c you’re at a public event, doesn’t mean you get the right to misbehave so wantonly. Show a cop this video, and ask him or her how they would’ve handled it, and maybe you’ll learn a thing or two.
- Amy
Um… what makes you think I don’t already know a thing or two?
And I’ll continue to read here, thank you. Most of the time this is a pretty cool place for intelligent conversation. You don’t like my opinion? Fine. But I’ll continue to tell like I see it. First amendment applies to everyone – even those you disagree with. There’s no need to escalate things – at any town hall, rally or meeting – or here for that matter…

If police won’t remove occupiers who loiter in parks while the rest of civilized society pays for hotel rooms, then what do you expect here?

While I disagree with her, I do admire her keeping her cool while being surrounded by people outwardly hostile to her. Some of the audience reacted to her calmly, but a number of others REALLY over reacted which made her a bigger story.
And I’m not convinced she’s a Democrat or big lefty. I’ve met moderates that sound a lot like her. The fact that the income gap argument is taking root among moderates is a big problem for us.

A question on Newt’s Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac issue – this is something that I have to look into more deeply. While member of House and as Speaker of the House, did Newt do anything stop Freddie and Fannie? Did he identify the problems with the Home Affordability program? Did he understand how Wall Street was bundling and securitizing the bad mortgages and selling them off? I hope that I find evidence of him being aware and fighting in opposition to all of those. But he might have been oblivious to it all, or worse, he may have supported it.
Before I go looking, does anybody here have information on those issues?

For gosh sakes,
Let me make this very easy and simple so you and all can understand as 99.9% of the people don’t know how the mortgage crisis occured:
1. CDO’s were not developed till the early 2000′s
2. CDS’s were not on mortgages were not developed till about 2005
3. Stripping of B and C Tranches were not developed till 2000′s
4. Fannie and Freddie didn’t start their large buying of sub-prime until 2005-2006 when they were losing market share
5. The loostening of lending standards occured mainly during the Bush administration at the behest of groups like ACORN, not under Gingrich
6. Lack of oversight of Fannie and Freddie was during a period when the Dems controlled the Congress which Newt was long gone.
7. Latest and second disclosure states absolutely no lobbying.
8. This is smoke and smear by the Ken Doll - Mike Lee
One last comment on this: why are liberal women “agitators” always so ugly? I knwo there are plenty of attractive liberal women. Gingrich is the man for the presidency. The lamestream media now including RINO Romney, is trashing Newt for “historical” baggage. All politicians have baggage if we dig deep enough, but the lamestream/left socialists won’t expose democrats, they love the big zero/Obama. Newt has made his mark with his “Contract with America,” a contract he fulfilled that no other politician can match. He is a true conservative, and gaining in the polls. He also now has the support of the Palin family and Rick Perry and now Chuck Norris, JC Watts and former Sen. Fred Thompson. Newts daughters also wrote to ABC about the Brian Ross interview with their mother and said it was a mean and nasty move right before a primary, which Gingrich won anyway. We need this man to bring back our country into prosperity. Look at Iraq when the troops were brought home, the Iranians will take over and the violence has started again and is worsening. We can all blame Obama for that and all the soldiers lost or maimed was all in vain.
However, I will vote for anyone who runs against the Obama regime.
I just wish that the candidates would stop slamming each other and focus on the multitude of failures by Obama, he has ruined US and we are on the brink of bankruptcy. - Anonymous

Much less if you get too close to her hairy underarms. No hot chicks whatsoever on the left. I’m proud that we have the ladies who are easy on the eyes on our side!
Shallow? Yes. But true.

The lispy little runt thinks that she has a heckler’s veto, and as such her rights trump everyone else’s. Notice how smug the little troll is, and when asked about her OWS affiliation, her face betrays her. She lied.

I like Newt’s comment about never winning an argument with someone who thinks 2+2=5 because that sums up the entire lefty movement.
I’m not sure exactly why the police didn’t haul this lefty woman’s butt out of this town hall, because she was extremely disruptive, to the point that even Newt couldn’t help by be distracted by her.
Isn’t there a such thing as “disturbing the peace” or something? (via Shark-Tank)
