This is pretty despicable and I can’t help but think that in a day when class warfare rhetoric has been elevated to the point that it’s becoming an acceptable argument for some, this seems par for that course. I’m not saying that this particular robbery is directly related to that. This could just be thugs innovating on better ways to rob a store without getting caught, which remains to be seen. But they didn’t hold up the cash register. They just took items from the shelves which isn’t a far cry different than looting. But there’s a greater risk involved and I just wonder how much of the “take it from the evil rich” mindset is a part of these flash mobs. Also, I should mention that this flash mob was all black based on what I saw from the cameras. Not trying to play up racial tensions, but it makes me think that race may factor into this as well considering the type of robbery.
