If you're so determined to give this award to a Muslim who has spoken up for 'women's rights', (I guess there are no persecuted Christian women in the Middle East worthy of it), where's the nomination for the little Muslim girl the Taliban shot in the head for speaking out and who is still speaking for Islamic girls to be able to go to school right now? This doesn't pass the smell test. From what I have read about her, Samira Ibrahim is basically the leader of the women's rights movement - as well as the anti-Muslim Brotherhood movement - in Egypt. The worldview she espouses on its face seems to be incompatible with anti-semitism.
Moreover, although I, like most of us here, do not speak Arabic and thus am not really qualified to comment on what she has said, I did peek through google translated versions of her tweets from the past few months (including the dates in question here) - as far as I could tell and there was no mention of Jews or for that matter anything that we would consider offensive (at least from what I could put together, after all. It's still machine translation so a lot of it was gibberish). There were what appeared to be several mentions, however, of her twitter account having been hacked.
More importantly, although we all love to criticize the administration, if she is so anti-semitic that she runs her mouth on twitter about it then there is no possible way that they would present any sort of prestigious award to her. Even if they are evil, they're not that stupid.
