Victoria Nuland is another one of the rude, dismissive, evasive Obamadrones who offers nothing significant to reports and those who seek the truth. I wonder where these drones are trained... obediance school?
There is going to come a time now that Obama has been 're-selected', where his Marxist agenda will become so blatant that not even the most liberal reporter will be able to carry his water, without at least having to question it once in a while.
Oh, there will always be a few but the hypocrisy of their comments will render them irrelevant in the eyes of thinking people. Those who plan on being employed 4 years from now, are going to take a 'slightly' more balanced view of things.
I've got a degree in Telecommunications/Journalism and a (long ago expired) Broadcasters License. I suspect we are going to see a very subtle shift in reporting in the next 4 years, not something you'll notice unless you're looking for it. 'The left' is the establishment now and reporters who plan on making a name for them selves, the way Woodward and Bernstein did in the Watergate days, are going to have to do it by taking on 'the establishment'. ;-)
I understand where you (and Halpern) are coming from. Just keep in mind what I said about the 'establishment/anti-establishment' thing and watch closely. I'm not saying I'm correct, only that I have my suspicions based on over 4 decades of media observation.
I don't see it, the Left doesn't tolerate dissension in the ranks. MSNBC is as much a party "discipline" enforcer as anything else, ridicule and ostracism being their preferred methods. See: halperin, mark.

What crawled up that reporters butt? He better watch it or the Obama administration will have it removed for him. He is supposed to make nice with everyone in that administration.
If I am not mistaken don't the reporters take a class on how to pucker their lips and plant them on the great one's backside? See what happens when they remove them from that region. They actually get to see other things around them that may be more important and much more significant than how many different ways they can pucker up.
I found it quite refreshing to see the spokespersons frustration with the reporters questions and just loved his dogged pursuit of an answer that was not a talking point. Seeing this clip gave me hope that there are reporters still doing what was envisioned by the founding fathers. The frustration coming from the spokesperson was nothing that you and I feel since the sanctified one's reelection. Ours is a million times worse.
Please excuse me for my sarcasm, but I am still getting over the election and counting the many ways that our government will have their way with our liberty. I refuse to swallow that bitter pill.
The 'spokespersons' can't function outside of the talking points , really! and are insulted that anyone should question the 'talking points' ! May the future reveal more and more of these weaknesses !!

3. doesn't believe Israel has the right to defend itself.
They claim to "believe" in the right to self-defense, but if you look at our own RoE under this admin, then you can understand how narrowly defined their idea of self-defense is when it comes to those they view as the bad guys/good guys.

This kind of questioning is what real journalism is, this is what could expose the current regime for its hypocrisys and injustices that they perpetrate on American day in and day out. Thanks Mr Lee. If there were only someway to show reporters how much this kind of questioning is appreciated maybe some of them would be willing to stand out like Matt Lee just did, and has done on occasion in the past. State Department Spokesperson Avoiding Questions on What is the Capital of Israel
It would be nice if brain dead Newt Gingrich would stop pissing on Romney and address the real issues facing this country. He has lost my respect after his comments, and I guess the check Romney wrote to pay off his campaign debts must have cleared. I never thought I would have more respect for an AP reporter than Newt, but it has happened. Newt and the LSM have now partnered up. So sad.
What position does Gingrich hold again? Doubt any money was handed to Romney either. Direct that hostility toward the administration and their puppets for God sake. Who cares what a bunch of people that either lost, have axes to grind, or are positioning within the republican party have to say? This administration's corruption and incompetence is on lightspeed now and we are going to need every ounce of energy directed toward this group of losers.
I feel sorry for Mr. Lee. He has committed journalistic suicide. If he is ever allowed into another Press Conference, he will never be called on to ask a question. They won't allow hard questions, or anything that may cause a conflict. The AP will probably be asked to reassign him to some other department.

Hey Patriot, sorry about posting similar comments and links in the same thread. Didn't see yours before or while I was doing my post. We obviously recalled the same events at the same time, which is really a strike against the msm if we can recall such specific questioning, proving how rare it happens but, how appreciated it is .
I apologize to you and Patriot, I did not see your links when I posted above. But you're right, Matt Lee does go after the State Department with the right questions every time. He is one lone ranger!
