Oh, f'ing please. This gimmick is an attempt to evade the death penalty. Wouldn't want the American Justice System to offend Islam, would we. The outrageous thing about this is that it will probably work considering the traitorous judges swimming the sewers in Colorado. All I can say is that if the state doesn't kill him, and they won't, the immigrants in the prison will for whatever sport.
There was a report somewhere a few years back that moslim clerics are going into prisons to preach to, and convert, the inmates. Beware!

Let's be honest, there are some crimes where the death sentence is not only called for, but also the only appropriate punishment.

Surprising that inmates would deny believing in Jihad. NOT.
This is an integral part of being Muslim. You can not be Muslim and not believe in it. The closest you can get is to believe now is not the time to perform it.
This "religion" NO this political movement is not compatible with democracy or a republic like America.

Now that I agree with! I don't give a rat's rear end whether he's crazy as bat guano, muslim or perfectly sane. He took away the lives of several people in cold blood, he needs to swing from the end of the rope.
I was happy to see the judge denied a change of venue for Hasan - which means the death penalty is on the table still.
Sounds like he got a leftist lawyer. Though I suppose one would have to be a relativist to defend such a case. :\

Does it matter that the original source of this story is the National Enquirer? WT & Breitbart have picked it up from the Daily Mail who sources it to the National Enquirer. The link goes back to NE but a search of their site doesn't bring up any kind of story on Holmes converting to Islam. So... we have a 'source' unnamed that says he's converted and a link to a supermarket rag. Is this what passes for journalism now? Do we even have any real reporters anymore?

My point is that the Daily Mail reporter is unnamed, the source is unnamed and the link back to NE doesn't bring up any story to tie to anyone... Just a 'source'. That's not journalism.

Two explanations read on twitter:
*) he's done it so that he can get a pardon from BHO;
*) he's done it to justify these murders ('all infidels') for himself.
I think both are right.
In exchange for protection they'll get to use him for practice hiding body cavity bombs, and other such all male muhammadan entertainment.
