ACT OF WAR! Maybe Muslims attacked the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi, murdered U.S. Ambassador, Christopher Stevens, and 3 other members of his staff including two U.S. Marines, because they were angry that Obama didn't bow down low enough to his Muslim brothers?

GATEWAY The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other embassy staff were killed in a rocket attack on their car, a Libyan official said, as they were rushed from a consular building stormed by militants denouncing a U.S.-made film insulting the Prophet Mohammad. It has also been reported that U.S. Ambassador Stephens was suffocated and the other three Americans were shot.
Gunmen had attacked and burned the U.S. consulate in the eastern city of Benghazi, a center of last year’s uprising against Muammar Gaddafi, late on Tuesday evening, killing one U.S. consular official. The building was evacuated.

The Libyan official said the ambassador, Christopher Stevens, was being driven from the consulate building to a safer location when gunmen opened fire.
“The American ambassador and three staff members were killed when gunmen fired rockets at them,” the official in Benghazi told Reuters.
There was no immediate comment from the State Department in Washington. U.S. ambassadors in such volatile countries are accompanied by tight security, usually travelling in well-protected convoys. Security officials will be considering whether the two attacks were coordinated. ...
In neighboring Egypt, demonstrators had torn down an American flag and burned it during the protest. Some tried to raise a black flag with the words “There is no God but God, and Mohammad is his messenger”, a Reuters witness said.
The Middle East is falling apart, our U.S. diplomats are being murdered, and Obama is out campaigning. But, our “fearless” leader does have time to apologize...to the Islamist murderers declaring war on our country. Nice.

I get so tired of hearing that the Republican party is a bunch of white guys. We cannot force blacks and hispanics to join our party. The Dems have race baited for so many years that most blacks don't ever even hear our message or what we stand for. If the Dems and the MSM would stop race baiting the demographics would change. Oh, no...that can't happen because Dems would never win another election. So....they continue to race bait and paint a picure of us that is completely false.
I don't watch Stewart very often because he's so one-sided. However, even when I watch his bias focus he's extremely funny. He is really good at what he does and I'm glad to see he's starting to include the Dems on his show (more often).

Light jabs at Obama and his followers while Stewart takes body blows when it's the GOP's turn. One makes light of how highly people think of Obama while the low blows on the GOP makes the GOP or its members look like mind numb, fools. One is high road humor. The other is low road. One laughs with. One laughs at. Guess which is which.
He sure got it right with the idiot Castro brothers. Even though they got caught impersonating each other at various public functions (before Julian became mayor) people shrugged it off and elected him anyway. Now his evil twin is running for Congress and I'm liable to get stuck with him after the 3rd redistricting here in as many years so that we're all in blue districts. I'm sick of the headlines about pandering to the "Latino" vote. If a newspaper printed headlines about doing what it takes to get the "white" vote, it would be put out of business. What about the AMERICAN vote?
Many moons ago, I liked Jon Stewart- his show was hilarious. Then when he started the liberal spewing, I couldn't stand him. This is absolutely hysterical. At least he does trash both sides.
This was just his perennial "token Dem jab". He only does it to provide "evidence" (albeit scant) that he's not blatantly biased (which he most certainly is). His primary target demographic is ignorant libs, so he has to keep his humor low-brow, otherwise they won't get it, being libs...
His bits on Republicans are pretty harsh compared to this. All he did here was point out people's adoration of Obama. He never trashed Obama.
I still think he's funny, although this bit wasn't all that funny to me.
Regarding the major networks and their biased reporting of the news. As I said earlier, their non reporting of important tacts taken by this administration is as harmful as their twisted, short deceitful reporting. How about we organize a few Wednesdays in a row of not watching NBC for a full 24 hour period. Starting next week we should tune out NBC every Wednes for a three week period. Use our social media contacts, skills and other means to spread the word that we are done with this crew of creeps until things change. Change will come if enough people sacrifice what ever little bit of respect they get from theis network. That should include ANY NBC affiliate or channel subsidized by them.
That won't work unless Joe/Jane Average Citizen care enough about it to forego watching their nightly "must see TV" prime-time shows on NBC, which ain't gonna happen in our lifetime. There's simply not enough social awareness, or a sufficient sense of personal responsibility in the average citizen today. As John Lennon so prophetically put it in "Working Class Hero"...

Fox along with the rest of them, is guilty of omission of the truth (and firing those who dare tell it). O'Reilly in my opinion is the worst offender. His notion of fair and balanced is to stand a lie up against the truth so his viewers can recognize neither.
Google, Bing and Control-F are far more enlightening than anything on TV, cable or print media.
Sadly, the only one on the prime time shows that I can stand at all nowadays, is the one that I lambasted Fox for bringing over more than a decade ago - Greta. We all know she's a liberal, but she is, IMHO, the least biased in her reporting and is the only one in the lineup that I will watch at all after 5pm. O'Really is a bloviating blow hard, Hannity shrieks over the guests, I'd rather watch a test pattern.
I once wrote to O'rielly to please not be on my side. Theres strength in numbers but there needs to be confidence in those numbers too. He's the worst, biggest balless phoney we have on the right. Actually dislike him to a fault. His chats with O have been so superficial that hes invited back for more. I have no doubt that Fox has him around so as to be able to point out that they are not as hard core as people believe. His hardassed attacks on Barney Frank and others are hilarious when watched in succession with the 0 interviews. Yeah Fox does omit some, but I have a gut feeling its less harmful to our republic and country as a whole than MSNBC and NBC.

I think O'Reilly is Fox News' political eunuch. He can draw in both republican and democratic viewers who see him as presenting "both sides", but still cannot deal with the ugly truth.
That was absolutely hilarious if a little gross there at the end. At least he's willing to poke fun at his own and do it with fairly sharp daggers, too. If I were the Dems, I would be feeling the ouch.
This is slightly off topic but I didn't know where else to ask. Hillbuzz Kevin mentioned in a post that he hasn't seen the Democrat donkey in evidence during this DNC convention, only what he calls the "Obama Eye" otherwise know as the Obama logo. Since I haven't been watching the circus, I'm curious. Is he right? o.O

I stopped watching when he began to mock America.
It's always convenient to mock your country when you have the legal right to do so. It's easy to accuse America of crimes against humanity and then enjoy the liberties and freedoms of that supposed criminal regime.
Try that in Saudi Arabia, North Korea or Iran you left wing fruit loop.
Liberals are murders and sexual deviants and serve no purpose nor contribute any value to society. Liberalism is a destructive criminal activity and should be treated as such.
But it's also a mental illness, more to be pitied, than condemned. They simply don't know they're sick.
I refuse to watch this guy under any circumstances. All this sudden reversal/retarding of adoration is a set up for the last two weeks of the campaign, or even for the debates. They're trying to build a basis for an argument in the future that they aren't as biased as they actually are. A trojan horse to the masses if you will. Yeah they may also be afraid of ratings dropping (see Matt Lauer and NBC), but the nonpolitical morons such as Leno, Stewart, Maher etc, won't be critical of Obamas stance on issues but will choose to be unbiased at the cost of the drones or some other mindless thoughts.
Like I said, I haven't seen the tape nor will I watch it. I've given up HBO due to Bill Maher, and NBC is only glimpsed at while flicking thru the stations. We need to hit these networks where it hurts. Why are we subsidizing Matt Lauer and Jay Lenos salaries (26 Mil/yr....EACH)?
We need a media blackout day, don't buy the biased papers (NYTimes for a few Mondays in a row, Don't watch a few Tuesdays of NBC, things of that nature. We're more of the problem than we think.
I'm afraid, like many here, that I can't join in that boycott. For one simple reason. I don't read the NYTimes, or any newspaper for that matter, I don't watch NBC, or any of the alphabet stations, and HBO has been off my TV for 15 years now.

I could not participate in a Fox boycot either but that may be one of the few places a conservative viewer boycott might result in truthful coverage and exposure of the political class. I kinda of doubt it though - Fox canned Beck who had to have been bringing in 10x more money and viewers that that "View" show they replaced him with.
So clearly the narrative does trump profit, even at Fox.
Er, where was he when they rolled out the Greek columns? When Obama promised to stop the rise of the oceans?

It was mentioned yesterday by NYGino, but it's worth repeating. What's in the liberal water these days? First, the media at CNN start lambasting the Obama team (on various occasions), then Kirsten Powers seems to want to join the Fox family, and now Stewart feels the need to pile on.
I realize, with the media, that it's all about ratings and staying alive, but it's getting pretty desperate for the lefties these days. I was a bit depressed, listening to Clinton last night, knowing that most of what he was saying was just twisted BS, but hearing all the cheering and knowing the public might believe him, well, it was too much to bear.
Good news is the Romney team is not falling down on the job. They have created a microsite to combat all those lame stories about people getting layed off and stepped on by Mitt.

I noticed also that Obama's team last night failed to bring on stage anyone from GM who was layed off and lost their pension from the GM bailout and subsequent chapter 11 bankruptcy. Selective victimization, anyone?
Believe it or not, the media's highest, ultimate God is not liberalism, it is Profit. And the profit by keeping the "balance of power" walking a tightrope of their own creation during an election year news cycle. There are two months of highly profitable campaign ad 'buy-time' to go yet. Having EITHER side starting to show a decisive lead would be counter-productive to media profits right now, so we are seeing some "tweaking" going on, ala the Daily Show, to keep everyone in a state of tension...to keep Obama's and Romney's campaign people focused on continuing to spend money hand-over-fist in an attempt to 'nudge' the opinion polls up or down mere fractions of a percentage point. Ideally, they will propagate this myth of it being a neck-in-neck race right up until Election night. That's what it takes to build profits, Truth be damned!
But until/unless enough of us are finally willing to just tune out ALL the media, on a massive, wholesale basis, the manipulation of the Truth, and our perceptions, will continue unabated.
The word is out that the Hussein regime has run its course. The rats are scurrying for favor with the new king.
Those people must be talking about an entirely different obama than the one currently occupying our nation's White House.
