I liked most of this...alot. Particularly the gun control/people control part. However, his commentary on voting I think is a day late and a dollar short. Pretty sure things are rigged theses days after witnessing the last primary shananigans. Makes it difficult to vote when their isn't any choice. Also, not voting is also a freedom which is God given. I don't think he considered that. Maybe it's the people that vote that are causing the problem? (myself included) When we can check the box reading "vote of no-confidence", perhaps his point would hold more water. Also, paying taxes to support a militray that is, in my view, badly missused (ie. policing the world) is a "tricky" thing. Of course I support "defending" our nation and, so too, paying taxes as such; that's constitutional. However, our current state of foreign policy is WAY off of that mark. Tricky...or no?

Arkansas: Important Update on Multiple House Bills
On Tuesday, House Bill 1408, introduced by state Representative Sue Scott (R-95), failed to get the necessary votes to be reported out of the House Judiciary Committee. However, HB 1408 could be heard again in the future. This common sense pro-gun reform would simply add open carry to the methods by which a current Concealed Handgun Carry License (CHCL) holder may carry his personal protection handgun. While most license holders would likely continue to carry their handguns concealed and discreetly, HB 1408 would eliminate any potential problems a license holder may encounter should a concealed firearm accidentally become exposed. It would also allow licensees to remove a jacket during hot weather without running afoul of the current concealed carry statute, should that action cause a handgun to become exposed.

A woman's right to choose self protection
What should America do about gun violence? That was the Senate Judiciary Committee's topic for its first hearing of 2013.In my testimony during the hearing, I explained that the ability to arm oneself is even more important for women than it is for men, since guns level the playing field between women and the physically stronger men who might attack them. We preserve meaningful protection for women by safeguarding our Second Amendment rights to lawful self protection. I urged the senators to eschew self defeating proposals that would fail to make Americans safer and would harm women most.

Florida: Lawmakers propose multiple gun bills

Pat Quinn to put the prohibition in place.

Federal gun proposals face tough legal road
The prospects for the administration's proposals, however, are murky at best. Six weeks after Obama announced his initiatives, the assault weapons ban reinstatement is widely considered to have virtually no chance of passing the Republican led U.S. House of Representatives. It's not even a good bet in the Democrat controlled U.S. Senate. The powerful National Rifle Association, which sees Obama's plan as an infringement on the Second Amendment's right to bear arms, staunchly opposes the effort.Gary Kleck, a professor at Florida State's College of Criminology and Criminal Justice and a national expert on violence and gun control laws, agrees the assault weapon ban won't go anywhere -- and shouldn't.

Maryland: Senate passes sweeping gun control bill
Maryland Senate Democrats passed sweeping gun control legislation proposed by Maryland Gov. Excellent speech. The only thing I would like to add is our military men and women are being used by the military industrial complex in illegal wars. Eisenhower warned us against the military industrial complex, and our tax money is being ripped off by this corrupt government to keep the wars going to pay the military industrial corporations. All the wars we have been engaged in since WW2 are illegal. Stop supporting this America. Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 of the United States Constitution.
Excellent speech. The only thing I would like to add is we must all keep in mind that our military is being used by this corrupt government in illegal wars. The military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us against is killing our young military men and women in order to keep the money machine going for military industrial corporations. Only Congress can authorize a war, and that has not been done since WW2. Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 of the United States Constitution.

this is a gun nut, why is he so concerned with gun control, now I understand why he is no longer with the secret service... I have guns, but I do believe in gun control. and further that those who have or used guns illegally should receive severe prison sentences. of course those sentences are paid for by us law abiding citizens.
Thank you for speaking so intelligently and passionately on this issue! You really struck a nerve for me with your warning about the co-opting of language. People don't get how deadly serious that is. And this is not the only issue that's being driven by it. We're like the frog who doesn't jump out of the pot of water until it's too late. I don't think that leftists are bad people, but life can be a slippery slope and let us never forget that the ruthless totalitarian violence of the Third Reich began with the co-opting of language.
Like you, Dan, I am not a right-wing nut or a bigot or a sexist or a homophobe; unlike you I've never owned a gun; I'm just passionate about logic and common sense.
Dan ...please run for President!!!!!
What A GREAT speech. I do not know Dan but I certainly agree with him. I, too, carried a weapon for many years (and I still do). For those who do not know me, I am a retired Special Agent with the US (of course) Army Criminal Investigation Division and was an investigator for twenty additional years in Kentucky. PLUS a number of years as a member of our County Citizens Advisory Board. I have collected a few college degrees, eg: A BS in Law Enforcement, A MS in Public Administration and a Ph. D. In Criminology.
Truer words were never spoken. Not once when he arrested someone were they armed with a legal gun. Not once were they told to disarm themselves because it was safe when they went to a city with major gun laws. It ain't about gun control, it's all about people control.
Message to Barack and Joe: You may take a gun from me for public use, provided that you compensate me under the 5th Amendment: "nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation." Each firearm has a value to me of $1 Million. You may not take all of them, only those I am willing to part with. I retain the right to purchase more (under the 2nd Amendment).
That is a great attitude adjuster. . .
This is how we all need to be speaking to those, that think they can put some type of infringement upon our constitutionally guaranteed, god given rights.
Time to stand up and fight. . .
I love his last phrase "Talk is cheap - Liberty is Not!"
We all need to do what we can to STAND UP to the gun grabbers who want to control the people. It is our Freedom, our children's Freedom and our Country we are Standing UP for! We have to do it now! We will have lost the country if we don't unite in our common goal of keeping our Freedoms intact!
Thanks you! It's nice to know that we still have thinking people in this country. After last election I was beginning to give up.
That is a great speech. Gun registration is for future confiscation, and as he said, gun control is people control. It seems that in the meantime, the government is buying up all the bullets and that may be for people control, too. We are living in very dangerous times with evil people at the wheel. I'm so afraid for my grandchildren and great grandchildren, and what they are going to have to live in.

Do you know what happens to sheep when they get old and their wool has lost its value? They get taken to the slaughter house.

How can we stop this if people keep putting these liberal nuts in Washington? And we don't have anyone with enough guts to stand up to them. I would, BUT I just a 65 year old forced into retirement by the USPS, smuck! I feel like I don't have a voice against these Liberals in office!!!!! P.S. I am a registered voter and have been since I was 18 years old.
The wolves are not just the street criminals either. The Washington wolves are far more ravenous. In fact I have more respect for the street thug because at least you know what he is about!.. For the kind people who feel some conflict with biblical teachings--just remember what Our Lord did with the money changers in the temple--throwing them out, and tossing chairs and turning over tables is an acceptable option!

Nice to hear "American" spoken. The accent shows how un-American and anti-American Dear Leader and the dems speech is.
OK, so I will ask, Why doesn't Dan finally do something right??? Move to Texas, or another State, and get voted into the Senate???? SERIOUSLY, does DAN Really need to know that? DO IT, DAN, PLEASE MOVE TO ANOTHER STATE, AND ASK FOR DONATIONS. I would gladly help him out.
Why can't the leaders on the right get behind this man? Are the true conservatives really without power? He's right. If you aren't out there with him in the chill then you are the problem. No more time to moan.
The exact same reason they did not get behind Allen West, it doesn't meet their agenda.
His best comment was that the founders created a document that disempowered them, meaning the government, to be able to take away our rights. It was the only revolution in history that created a document that empowered the people instead of the government. Amen!
Even though he sadly didn't win, again, Gov. Palin saw a winner when she endorsed him.
He IS a winner, and I suspect we'll be seeing a lot more of him in the future.
You GO!!! Mr. Bongino!
SO, what will it take to get him to run, perhaps in a different/new residence??? Has anyone else thought of that? I mean this guy has the right stuff to run again, but after the last loss, how does he do it different? Just wondering..............In Texas.....
Love that Truthful quote: "In a society of wolves, you do not fight back by creating more sheep"
Never thought I'd see the day I'd be quoting Malcom X for chastising Blacks and calling them "a batch of chumps" for supporting Democrats but if you go over to PJTV and listen to what Alfonzo Rachel has to say today, you'll understand why.
Dan, we need more leaders like you! Please run for the Senate! Or better yet, presidency!
We should also go back to "these united states", rather than continuing with the more collective "the united states".
Dan is the voice for the people and he continues to push -->If you want to change things you must get involved. As Dan Bongino says " if you are not trying to fix the problem then you are part of the problem." The situation will not change until "We the people" stand up & take control.
People can only take away our power if we let them.
We have two responsibilities:
1) To accept things the way they are.
OR
2) To accept the RESPONSIBILITY to CHANGE them.
