Very classy, Governor Walker. Thank you for "getting it" - the election WAS the day before, and now we can work together in moving Wisconsin forward. Thank you for your willingness to listen to all of your constituents and your willingness to give credit where credit is due -- to GOD. Blessings to you as you continue to serve.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!

Smiled all day long after hearing the new this morning. Problem was, it took ABC, NBC almost 10 minutes before they could bring themselves to announce.

Despicable.

Thank you Wisconsin. For the first time in 3 1/2 years, last night I slept like a baby.

Great speech. See the difference between this man and Obama? His words come from his soul, his heart. He believes what he says, so it flows naturally out of his mouth. I am so incredibly proud of Wisconsin. Thank you, guys. Thank you.

A great victory for Wisconsin and America. The people gave the unions and Obama the middle finger. I hope the union spent themselves into bankruptcy!

This is what happens when we all work together........

G-d has blessed Gov. Walker and Lt. Gov. Kleefish, as well as the good citizens of Wisconsin.

I just heard that Madison had a 119% turnout. Can anyone wrap their head around that? A whole lot of cheating going on. Democrats are liars and cheaters, no doubt they're also pumpkin eaters. Voter fraud is rampant on the left, yet they pretend it doesn't exist. Can you just imagine how many democrats are in office right now who got there with fraud? It's sickening. You can't just beat these dogs, you have to stomp them in the dirt. Without the fraud, who knows what the point spread would've been? Still waiting to hear about the senators results.

Anyway...Yay! Take that you thuggy hoodlums!!!

Hip hip hooray!

Well said!!

Be on the look-out for ACORN to return bigger than ever for Nov. 2012 with their fraudulent methods after this beating in Wis.

I am confident they are out recruiting "community organizers" at this moment.

Progressives (commies) are whining about money Walker received for election but have no problems with Obamaladen getting money from Gaza in 2008 and still allowing anyone (outside of US) to contribute w/o any verification.

It was a great night and a great speech...

I, too, wondered how 119 percent can vote! But we won, and, in this case, all's well that ends well! I was proud of the cheese state and the Badgers, and whatever else kind of team they have! Good grief, Charlie Brown!, that was a good night. Now, here's a question: Does anyone think Hannity knew the real poll numbers? When he came on his show last night, he was very happy. He was all smiles! Karl Rove was smug. He knew, too. How? I'm not saying anything is out of whack, but must have access to info that I don't, or they are able to understand more than me how to interpret the polls. I know Karl Rove can do that every time. O also can "read" the poll nos. b/c he didn't show in Wisconsin. He knew he'd lost. How do they do that?

Your union thugs failed Barocky. Might be time to get your shite packed. The Choom bus is parked outside and ready to drive you into another "haze" somewhere else.

You couldn't register enough dead people to vote Walker out. Transporting union weasels from other states to vote didn't work either. You're losing your mojo Dhimiratz.

Party before country doesn't work anymore. People are fed up with that crap. Best be getting on the "change wagon" cause real change is here and its spreading like wildfire across this country. And I don't mean that Dopey Chump Change that Barack the Kenyan boy-king promised.

Today Wisconsin. Tomorrow the WH.

I'm with some of the other commenters here. He shouldn't be using the word "Forward" as a kind of campaign slogan. If his game is trying to pander to the Left in Wisconsin, then I don't approve of it at all.

Loves it! Thank you Gov. Walker for your courage of faith and for standing for what is right in the face of pure evil...we owe you a debt of gratitude that cannot be paid back.

I cannot imagine how much Scott Walker's sons have had to endure these past months. I watched Governor Walker hug them after the speech and I could almost feel their relief from here. God Bless this brave family.

Oh, and that Venus Transits the Sun thing: I'll catch it next time.

Nukeman60
Nukeman60

Trust me K-Bob, it was a sight to behold (a very sloooow sight, but a sight none the less). Took six hours and won't happen for another 105 years, but I can say I was there when Venus crossed the Sun and Walker crossed out the Unions. A glorious beginning to June.

Bring on the Supremes (pun intended).

I'll just have to make them dog years, or somethin'.

Glad there's pics to look at. Seems like every time there's a decent solar or lunar eclipse (and the occasional transit, I guess), viewing conditions east of the Mississippi are nil, and you're almost always better off being in the Southern Hemisphere on a Pacific Island or something.

When I'm in Michigan, I never get to see much in the night sky, except the occasional "Boring Roryalis" (rarely any colors, hence my term for it). Michigan, especially the lower parts, is the cloudiest state in the union.

But it sure does have some Great Lakes!

Very true. Every morning I go outside here at The Boogie Southern Compound, I can't believe how awesome is creation. (We're talking "rural" where you take both a chainsaw and come-a-long in your 4x4 truck, just to go to town in Winter).

I've known about this place all my life, and even went to school here. But actually being here is "the real deal."

So is seeing the transit. But I gotta be philosophical about missing it. (Like by being glad I didn't miss the flock of wild turkeys that decided to walk right up to the back door. Man, those suckers are big!)

Nukeman60

I have to admit, in this day and age, a good video is sometimes far superior to the actual thing. You can get a 5 minute, time lapse, excellent viewing on You tube compared to the excruciatingly slow 6 hour transit in real time. My eyes being what they are these days, the internet is the medium of choice for anything celestial for me, it seems. But just being there and knowing it's happening right in front of our eyes is worth the price of admission.

Here's CAC's "Decision Desk" map (CAC is a cob-logger at Ace's) map, showing the red/blue breakdown in Wisconsin counties.

It ain't very blue!

(EDIT: I forgot to add, it's interactive! Good job CAC!)

Between Dane county and Milwaukee county, Barrett had a 204,000 vote lead. Walker pretty much took the rest of the state, but those two counties did some pretty serious damage. If anyone wanted to look for voter fraud, I'd be inclined to start there and then look to see how many of the 200,000+ absentee ballots went for Barrett, as well.

K-Bob
K-Bob

I hope he gets a chance to tackle the fraud stuff. I know he'll be busy trying to look gracious. But they have a serious problem, I think.

Nukeman60
Nukeman60

Agreed. As much as we have liberals creating accounts just to come on this site for a drive-by to commit blogger fraud, spew left wing talking points about there being 'rare occasions' of voter fraud only and then only by Republicans (giving left-leaning sites as their example of various studies), we know voter fraud is rampant around this country. If we don't get it under control by November, it could get ugly real fast.

But the good news is, we are on top of it, so 'voter beware' is the tagline, as it were.

BRAVO! Our God is AWESOME!

FutureOnePercent
FutureOnePercent

The difference between most conservatives and liberals...

When we win we say "God is awesome"

When they win they say "(Candidate) is awesome"

That's the problem with most liberals who say they aren't religious? Yes they are... they worship government like God.

We trust God to provide for us and guide our lives.

They trust the government to provide for them and guide their lives.

What America really has is a spiritual problem. The rest is just symptoms.

When you systematically remove God from every aspect of life, the liberals will happily fill that void by putting themselves in power over you.

The first thing Walker needs to address before even recall parameters is voter fraud. Using folks signatures from petitions to obtain absentee ballots, "Day of" voter registration. And folks who are caught ought to serve enough jail/community service time to really put a crimp in their life style (like 4 years of community service 1 day a week -- changing bed pans in a hospital.)

Excellent speech Governor. Congratulations on your win. I can tell you would make an excellent President also. Good Luck.

FORWARD. Isn't the the Amateur's slogan? Here, it actually means something.

kong1967
kong1967

I don't like it because Obama uses it and it's a communist slogan. Obviously no connection to that here.

Hannity said that conviction-leadership is back in vogue. Leaders that resolutely stand for something and don't wimp out are showing that they can win.

Hear that, John Boehner?

drphibes

It's important that he won by a wide margin because it demonstrates a decisive defeat of the wrong ideas.

kong1967
kong1967

A wide margin? Dang, I haven't been home very long and haven't seen them yet. I guess I should dig up the numbers because I thought it was going to be a tight race.

Conservative_Hippie

Tight, perhaps, unless you take away all the corrupt votes. And let's face it there are going to be some corrupt votes.

Good job Scott. Not big on the prominent "FORWARD" campaign board. Some other guy is using "Forward" for campaigns. Bad word association with Marxists/Communists too.

The "working together" part of the speech sounds very close to the "hands across the aisle" McCain kind of speak. I expect Mark Levin will spend 20 minutes slamming you on this. .... Naaaahhh... He knows who he loves and doesn't.

Ozzie

I just finished the speech and I am a little confused. I hope he isn't naive enough to believe that it's been settled. The left will continue to hammer him, but I hope that his "open hand" gesture tonight will be enough to show the moderates that he really does care about Wisconsin and not just a party.
