It looks like the Muslim world has decided that they are going to try and make this blockade of Gaza the Achilles heel of Israel. I tell you, if I were POTUS, I’d send the biggest baddest naval warships over to Gaza just to show solidarity, support, and strength with Israel. I’d never let this happen:

Iran’s Red Crescent Society will try to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza by sending food and medical supplies to the besieged Palestinian territory, an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said Monday.

Red Crescent official Abdul Rauf Adibzadeh said one shipment of relief goods will arrive in Gaza via Egypt by the end of the week, Iranian media reported.

The aid group is also preparing to send two relief ships to the coast of Gaza, including a hospital ship with doctors, nurses and operating rooms and another vessel with more relief goods like food and medication, the IRNA and Mehr news agencies reported.

On Sunday, Iran offered to send a military escort for aid ships heading to Gaza:

Iran would be willing to send its Revolutionary Guard members to accompany further aid ships to Gaza, Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday in an interview cited by Reuters.

“The naval wing of the Revolutionary Guard is ready to assist the peace flotilla to Gaza with all its effort and capabilities,” Khamenei’s Revolutionary Guard spokesman Ali Shirazi stated.

“If the Supreme Leader issues an order for this then the Revolutionary Guard naval forces will do their best to secure the ships,” Shirazi said. “It is Iran’s duty to defend the innocent people of Gaza.”

And in related news, Turkey also wants to try and break the blockade:

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is considering a trip to Gaza in order to break the siege imposed on the Strip by Israel, Lebanese newspaper al-Mustaqbal reported Saturday, quoting “knowledgeable sources”. …

According to the report, Erdogan told the American administration he was planning to ask his navy to escort another aid flotilla, but that American officials asked him to delay the plan in order to look into the matter.

This is really becoming insanity here, that we don’t step in to support Israel during this time of crisis. They are being provoked right and left and we are playing into their hands. At this point I’m not sure how this is going to turn out in the very short term. I know how it will turn out long term – God will protect Israel. If you don’t believe me, just read up on the Gog/Magog war in Ezekiel. That is coming.

If Iran (or Turkey) sends an “official” military escort from its Revolutionary Guard to protect the so-called “humanitarian” shipment for Gaza, will the Obama Administration send a equal response of American naval warships to protect Israel (in reality, it's to protect Iran from Israel – they don't mess around). Honestly, I have my doubts that he will. The ONLY reason Obama would do so is to prevent another war at this time, not because Israel is our ONLY friend in the Mediterranean.

Get ready folks, this is going to get interesting.

The correct action for us as a nation to take in this crisis, IMO, would be for the CIC to deploy the US 6th Fleet just outside the naval exclusion zone (blockade) to intercept any foreign Warships attempting to enter. At the same time allow the civilian vessels to continue and allow Israel and Egypt to deal with redirecting the aid to the appropriate transfer ports. This would greatly reduce the chance of armed conflict occurring as no naval escort commander in his right mind is going to challenge a US Carrier Battlegroup. Unless, God forbid the particular commander has suicidal tendencies. I think we are all aware of what would happen if Iranian or Turkish Naval vessels challenge the blockade.
