This would be a more powerful comparison if the dates were more than 3 months apart.
I didn't know they taught "Recycled Speech 101" at Harvard!
This is why our he will not show us his transcripts.
I just read something over on American Thinker about the New York Post article which actually points out that the Lincoln and Roosevelt parts of his speech were verbatim out of a Sept. 9, 2011 speech he gave! So the April 3 speech is actually a repeat of the Sept. 9, 2011 speech, and on and on it goes.
He also added that it was a flop 9 months ago, so what makes Obama think it'll work this time? I guess that's the liberal way though. They seem to want to repeat every failure in history, thinking this time it'll work. That's what happens when you have skittles for brains.
Wow. He touted so many Republicans I'm beginning to wonder if he's going to vote for himself.
Can't wait for the debates. POTUS without the TOTUS should be freaking hilarious fodder for ads. Can we invest in YouTube? Now might be a good time.
@whitewolf....inaction figure....what a great idea for a parody. That's hilarious.
All that spouting off about what he's done could have been done by any president. It's not rocket science. The grants have not lifted up the economy-end of story.
Heh, you had me for a second. I had to go back and look at it closely. I thought that maybe Obama had decided to just recycle old footage and instead of standing in front of the teleprompter, the audio/visual teleprompter was giving speeches itself.
Actually, the April video has a blue tie with little diamond-shaped objects, while the June video is a blue tie with stripes.
A sure sign of insanity: Repeating the same boring speech over and over hoping for a different outcome.
For a guy who ran on "change", he sure seems to be stuck in a rut. Kinda reminds me of the talking GI Joe I had when I was a kid. Pull the string and he speaks... Only, when I pulled GI Joe's string, the things he said made a lot more sense.
Unlike the Obama "inaction figure" who, when you pull the string, insults you for having enough money to buy it.
Well, really, how many ways are there to say "Bush's fault", "tax cuts for the wealthy paid for by cutting __Program__", and "I'm smarter than all you morons because I went to Harvard, where I was President of the Law Review, and besides Mom and my grandparents and Frank Marshall Davis always told me what a SPECIAL child I was and how I was The One who would be the savior of the Movement..."
Wow. What exactly did he change in giving this 'new' speech. Just the shout outs? I sure hope the GOP doesn't have to pay Obama's speech writers for writing the content of this ad. Seems like lately they're doing all the work for the GOP.
The ad could have given a little more to ask what Obama's plans are for the future (as we know he has none) in order to show this rehash means he's got nothing. They left it to the imagination of the audience, which you never want to do.
Otherwise, it was finally fun listening to Obloviator. I wonder if Barry knew the speech was the same, as he read it off the teleprompter. I doubt it.
I disagree with your one comment..that he has no plans for the future...he does and he's implementing it with alraming alacrity. He's destroying this nation from within.
Well, yeah. We all know what his true plans are. I was referring to any plans for restoring the economy, the prosperity, and the country, which is what any campaigner should be saying to win votes.
ABinC posted a photo of you and Joe on the 'Taxpayers footing the bill' thread last night.Check it out Gino.
I'd laugh, but I fear too many Americans don't have a clue this guy is taking them for idiots.
Wonder which it is:
Either his speech writers are brain dead.
Or they are bereft of ideas how to sell his c rap!
But I prefer to believe that TOTUS has gone rogue and is sabotaging Dear Leader in an attempt to undermine and humiliate him with the goal of ensuring he is a One Termer!
TOTUS - Teleprompter of the US! For Veep! :-)
Heh, heh! TOTUS has gone rogue. Good one! I'd say the TOTUS has more brains than the Bowing Usurper...that's for sure.
This is a very weak ad by the RNC. GOP supporters may like it. I am a Conservative, and I think it can be interpreted that Obama is consistent in his convictions, which is seen by many as being commendable. I think this ad cuts both ways. It could be run by the Dems to show that Congress is impeding him. It is very weak.
It shows that Obama is a one note samba and despite the depression into which his policies have sent our nation he will not change course. He is consistent in his convictions like a broken record.
Wow! His speech are recycled! It just goes to show that this man has nothing to offer which we found out the hard way.
Well - This is a great speech
He's got my vote
Yeah - Right !
The only way this "guy" will win is by FRAUD
Don't be silly - the Republicans are the ones who want voter fraud.
Making people prove their identity before voting. If that's not fraud, I just don't know what is.
(Also, up is down and wet is dry.)

"This is like deja vu all over again." - Yogi Berra.
Well there's a very limited number of statistics left for them to tout...
Actually, most of those weren't statistics they were touting, he was just saying what bad thing he thinks Romney would do?
Now that I think about it, he didn't mention a single positive thing about himself?
Well, O does have nice teeth. That is something positive he could talk about. Although, I have read that it is believed he had extensive dental work done.
