NH has the motto "Live Free or Die" and yet they voted for Obama and two Communist congressional representatives. What say you folks in New Hampshire? Glad I moved to NC!
Also, it is time our state starts to drill for oil and gas offshore.
When do red states start passive succession by keeping more money in their borders and away from DC? Start by keeping all the gas tax money. What will the regime do? Send in drones?
The Feds will take care of it.
So this is what will happen. ID health care cards will be issued by the feds not the state. Democrats will run elections saying the GOP wants to take those ID cards away.
Democrats will also be given all those good paying jobs.
The GOP was against SS and Medicare and now they are against Obamacare. All 3 times the public voted the Democrats out. All 3 times the Democrats came back. The people love SS and Medicare, in a very short time they are going to love Obamcare.
Watch and learn, Democrats run a long game while the GOP are nothing but locusts.
Feds can't afford it. It is collapsing under its own weight as we speak. Enjoy.
Bodes well for you folks. Obviously not a go along to get along guy. Clearly a principled leader.
I dunno...ceding any power entirely to the Obama administration doesn't sound like a good idea.
M son lives in N.C..I bet he is standing and cheering.Thank you sir for standing on your principles.
Scoop, praise God for men like your Governor who refuse to bow to the DC debacle known as Obamacare.
Congratulations to this R NC Gov. It seems the VA R's are trying to do the opposite. Will see if final Legislation passes VA Legislature, initial passed by 70-30 margins. Then will wait and see if McDonnell signs the Obumanocare exchange cooperation into VA Law.
If this is ALLLLL McCrory does in his first term, it'll have been worth my vote.
I am SO dang happy!!!

See Governor Kasich? This could have been you. Now your so-called conservative credentials are buried in the dung heap of Obama's legacy forever.
Doesn't take a conservative hero to figure out that Obamacare is the stupidest, non-functional, most impractical, costly and complex form of health care any group of corrupt political ideologues could ever manufacture.
The fact is, the British health care system is proof enough that socialized medicine delivers inefficient, incompetent and inhumane treatment.
The Marxist are now openly declaring the obamacare end game is in sight. It is crystal clear they intend to collapse our healthcare and insurance system as soon as possible.
The most effective, efficient, and equitable system is a single-insurer that covers everyone — as we have in Medicare for Americans over 65.
For this reason, the state of Vermont is designing an insurance exchange system under the ACA that will serve as a prelude to a single-payer, universal, statewide health care system. It is estimated that this will reduce health care spending in Vermont by 25 percent while insuring all residents.
The people of Vermont deserve congratulations and support for their years of grassroots activity that could make this a reality as early as 2017. The only reason we don’t have this nationwide is because of the corrupting power and influence of the pharmaceutical and insurance corporations.
This is what I have been waiting to hear from McCrory. The litmus test.
I was on the phone all day yesterday knowing we had both a house and senate bill coming. I told them what we know is going on in the medical field and it is bad bad news on all fronts.
I sent them all a copy of the LA Times article on the gutting of helathcare in California to fatten middleman parasites we call regulators. I told them NC could be the place great doctors go to - or the place those doctors leave. They have the power.
Hooray.
Very positive. It's sad that it has become a rarity when local governments stand up to the Beast in the East.
I'm proud of them and anyone who defy's this travesty.
I sometimes question the voting demographic in my state...but in this case, the people of NC did a great service to themselves by voting in a Republican majority legislature, rejecting Obama (close one), and electing Pat McCrory.
