this is great but they only offer so much...this to me is just to go in for pregnancy check ups nothing else really....
Someone posted about her mother running a home for unwed pregnant women. I am pro-choice, and I fully support such a home, for those women who want to carry to term, but lack the means and support. I am also in favor crisis pregnancy centers that don't offer abortion, provided they don't lie, and that they actually help the mother AFTER she gives birth. Many such centers lie about abortion and even about birth control. You can be against it without lying. The proselytizing also needs to go. Do you realize how many women you drive away with it? How many centers are there for the woman after she gives birth? I read an account of a mother of a boy with Tay-Sachs. Look it up, horrid disease. He has seizures, is losing the ability to move, can't control his bowels, his nervous system is being destroyed. He will die while still a toddler, Tay-Sachs always kills. He is in constant torment, has no future, cannot get better, and this cuts her up inside. She carried him to term because she was pressured to, at a crisis center. Not one of the people from that center helped him, helped her, once he was born. Not one. She thinks it would have been a mercy to abort before he had the ability to feel pain. Planned Parenthood would not have pushed abortion on her, they don't make decisions for women, and they don't pressure. If women wish to place babies for adoption, PP directs them to those who can make that happen. I've read a lot of comments here about PP making money off abortions. Please, folks, please, look at the actual numbers from their account books. PP is a non-profit organization, do you realize this? Planned Parenthood staff are demonized, threatened with violence and death, sometimes they are actually murdered. You really think they're in it for the money, seriously? They risk their lives to care for women in a difficult situation, and that does NOT mean always providing an abortion.
I have put up a lovely saying on my FB page. I can't copy it on to here but its - ABORTION with the B and R crossed out and a D & a P put in their place. Excellent.
God bless these people and praise God for doing this. May those who promote the murders of these babies turn from their ways and ask for forgiveness. If they choose not to let the wrath of the Almighty God come down upon their eternal souls.
AWESOME!!! Now, if only Stanton Health would set up franchises next to all the other Planned Parenthoods... ツ
And soon enough, this so-called pro life clinic will be bombing the Planned Parenthood clinic.
No, the haters at Planned Parenthood will orchestrate a bombing against their own clinic and then the leftist media will blame and convict the Stanton clinic.
Offering a perfect solution, is much better than pointing fingers and blaming.
A perfect example of acting outside the box.
And soon enough, this so-called pro life clinic will be bombing the Planned Parenthood clinic.
The bombs you are referring to will most definitely be lobbed at Stanton. They will come in the form of regulation and investigation from the Obama administration.
100% more likely, and you know it.
This is a great story of how it should work in the US. I am a bit befuddled that PP charges $150 for an ultrasound...I thought that they needed federal money to help the poor not cheat them out of their funds.
https://www.egivingsystems.org/45148/ You can send donations and support this awesome endeavor at this website. If you dont trust the link you can google it yourself, I know I dont normally click links in comment sections...but what the heck
Awwwhhh...is the "Negro Project" having a hard time murdering babies? Gee that's tough.
So if taxpayers don't fund abortion, but instead fund women's health services at PP, but PP still charges a fair amount.......what are the tax dollars really funding?
What do you think? The fees they charge for their OTHER services get slushed on over to the abortive dept.
85 % of abortions use a procedure that is "billed" at around $500. That same medical procedure performed on a non-pregnant woman will be billed at a higher amount to her, the government or her insurance...
$500 does not cover it, so they COST SHIFT, that means that they charge more for a pregnancy test than the dumb dipstick costs at Walmart. etc, more than the cost THEY pay, and put the "profit" towards OTHER purposes.
It's good that the free market has choices. Ultimately, if you want an abortion, though, there aren't many better providers than Planned Parenthood, and this pro-life clinic isn't going to be competing in the abortion market anytime soon.
That's all fine and well, IF Planned Parenthood is a private enterprise. They're not. It's government sanctioned abortion, taxpayer funded and that is just WRONG on so many levels, the main one forcing people (taxpayers) who believe in the sanctity of life to pay for a procedure to end a life.
BTW, I live in Canada, where there is no abortion law, abortions at all stages are totally legal and funded under our socialized medicine. No Parliamentarian had the guts to go against their caucuses and stand in favour of some kind of law. Now, even our current so-called Conservative government won't open the debate-40+ years of liberal social engineering has brainwashed them to fear doing this, in order to save their majority in the next election.
I thank God that Canada wasn't always like that, or you guys could have very well been deprived of this AmericanborninCanada. The Lord only knows the amazing people who might have lived in this world if it weren't for evil money making baby killers.
Well said, toon.
It's high time reality set in with these people. My God, the absurd thinking that abortion is just another family activity! How far down the rabbit hole have we fallen?
That's a lie. It's coercion in the worst way. Lefty's are encouraging teens to have sex, claiming that it should be protected, and then there are other Lefty's ready to fix their problem, mistake, punishment. They are scaring young women with the fear of not being able to raise and feed their children. Boyfriend's, who claim they love her, who reject her when they find out she's pregnant and force her get an abortion out of love for him. There are many reasons for getting an abortion, few of them are reasonable. All of them are wrong.
Don't make abortion a nice procedure, it's not. It's evil, so is anyone who defends it. Baby killers don't provide abortions because they care about the women. They do it for the profits.
Go blow wind in somebody else's sails.
There's a big difference between people choosing crappy food and people choosing to kill their babies. The country didn't require a supreme court ruling whether they wanted fries with that, and lawyers didn't pressure a guy who wanted a chocolate shake.
Roe V Wade was based on a lie and the the judges who ruled in favor of abortion are as much to blame. So are those who brought the free love of the 60's and who abandoned any thoughts of consequences. Add to that, the feminist movement and evil people who worshiped the idea of eugenics who started planned parenthood. The victims are the ignorant women who fell for the lies that a "simple procedure" would take care of that little problem and the innocent lives who were scraped out of the place that's supposed to be the safest environment for a baby... the mother's womb. Perhaps these children would have been safe if they were inside a turtle egg instead.
I think it was Roe v. Wade, plus the screaming feminists, invoking the name of Margaret Sanger http://mylordkatie.wordpress.com/2011/10/12/margaret-sanger-provider-of-death/ who helped push the abortion agenda.
To be fair, it's not the baby killers who are causing people to kill babies. It's the consumers. Blaming abortion doctors for parents voluntarily choosing abortion is like a fat guy suing McDonalds for making him fat.
Didn't quite get it, did you? They aren't there to 'compete' in the abortion 'market'. They are there to give an alternative to abortion. Kinda like not killing their babies. Capiche?
The point is that many people want abortions, and they won't go to this non-abortion provider. The whole point is for them to take business from Planned Parenthood; that's why they set up next to Planned Parenthood. But if someone wants an abortion, they won't be able to get them to their place. If someone wants to put their kid up for adoption, that's always an option, but so is abortion, and some people prefer abortion. That being said, even Planned Parenthood offers alternatives as well; they offer contraceptives.

What the progressive movement has done over the years in respect to Planned Parenthood and abortion is this concept, called the "Overton Window" http://gulagbound.com/28553/what-is-an-overton-window-again/ which in a nutshell, goes something like this:
....includes a range of policies considered to be politically acceptable in the current climate of public opinion, which a politician can recommend without being considered too “extreme” or outside the mainstream to gain or keep public office. Overton arranged the spectrum on a vertical axis of “more free” and “less free” in regard to government intervention. When the window moves or expands, ideas can accordingly become more or less politically acceptable. The degrees of acceptance[3] of public ideas can be described roughly as:
Unthinkable
Radical
Acceptable
Sensible
Popular
Policy
This started back in the heyday of Woodrow Wilson and Margaret Sanger, both proponents of using abortion as a means of population control within the negros of the US. Gradually, the idea of abortion went from "unthinkable" to what it is now, policy and to go against that policy today labels you as someone who is trying to send women back to the dark ages. IMHO, the shift picked up when birth control pills became widely available in the 60's and from then on, the likes of Planned Parenthood and what they do there, became what it is today, which is policy.

BAD, I like giving them options. They have choices.
And this, having two clinics side by side, gives them just one more time to think it through before making a very important decision.
Do yourself a favour guys and listen to this pro-life talk by Dr Alan Keyes.
Never heard anyone so articulate on the subject. America has been dumbed down enough not to understand the way he talk with clarity which is why he didnt get far in his presidential race.
America needs men like Alan Keyes and Allen West. The Two Great Allans!
Thank you for posting this. This is an example of how right can win over wrong. You can't do it by arguing w them, fighting w them, or trying to reason with them. Just come up with an alternative. This is a wonderful example. I wish this woman well and I do believe she will have clinics nationwide in no time at all. A key part of this endeavor is that she is bringing Christ into the equation. God bless.
This is where I went with my opinion about a year or two ago. I think that you'll never legislate certain actions: alcohol, drugs, and abortion all have markets and willing suppliers and equipment--really it's the same way you can't eliminate guns by having law abiding citizens turn them in.
However, we can win the hearts and minds of those who would abort, but by actually caring about the women AND their babies.
FWIW my mom ran a home for unwed mothers in my teens. It's really up to the pro-life community to put their money where their mouths are.
Good Job!
So proud to be from Boise! Watch this little city be the real catalyst for change.
