This clip strikes me as desperation from the left, pure and simple. The only thing this clip is missing is “I’m begging you”:
I got to say to the women out there, whether you’re a Republican, a Democrat or Independent, if you’re a self-respecting human being, please vote for President Obama. And to the men who care about women, do the same thing. This is the issue of our time.
She said this on Al not-so Sharpton’s show so the audience that heard it are probably already voting for Obama anyway. But even so, notice that she says it’s the “issue of our time”. Not the economy. Not jobs. Not the debt and deficits. No, it’s this pretend “war on women” which the left has to push because Obama’s policies are an utter failure and there’s no way he can run on them. And considering her plea, it seems that it’s all she’s got. And I don’t think it’s working.
