Beck interviews Mike Goldfarb on Ben Nelson Extortion: “I have 100% confidence in my source”

I can’t get over the WOW factor of this allegation. To think that Rahm Emmanuel would threaten to close a military base in Ben Nelson’s state just to get his ‘yes’ vote on Health Care is mind blowing. Talk about Obama Thugonomics!

UPDATE: Glenn also covered this story on his show today. This came later in the show, and now it may not be exactly Rahm Emmanuel who made the threat, but sources still maintain the call was from the White House.

    There have GOT to be a zillion laws broken with this. Our constitution states that there are to be a separation of powers between the legislative, executive and judicial branches. If the executive branch can extort members of the legislative branch, where are those separations?

    Ben Nelson should be a man of principal and stand up to the bullies and announce publically that he is being extorted with details and naming names. I would hope that it would make Liebermann and others grow a spine and shout from the rooftops when they are being extorted as well. If that doesn't make the White House back off, our country is a lost cause.
