I think this does nothing more than spread information about a condition that is not well known. No foul here.
About the only "edgy" or "fun" thing about Conservatives, in general, is that they are (usually) against being Politically Correct about everything all the time. The PC police try to use their easily offended nature as a club to beat the hell out of anyone and anything they don't agree with. They end up stifling discourse, creating useless anger, and often limit their own prosperity.
Offense is something you choose to take. By this choice are the problems of the easily offended made insurmountable.
One does not overcome adversity, disability, or debilitation by being easily offended.

But imagine the likes of Mr. Ed Schultz or any other far-left commentator getting a hold of this.
If people on this site have been offended, they've voiced it mildly and respectfully (except for one) No cussing. No ignorant comments (Like the ones Ed Scultz makes every time he opens his mouth)
GB gets enough attacks from the left on a day to day basis. So why hand your enemies a bag of rocks to stone you with?
I think people are saying it was a bad judgement call and giving their explainations of why it was a mistake, more than anything else here.
But of course, I can only speak for myself, so I could be wrong.
Glenn, making fun of this woman is like making fun of a retarded person in that both have conditions that they CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT. This is not someone that fell in a fountain at the mall because she was texting and couldn't be bothered to watch where she was going! Making fun of her is really uncalled for, at least in a public forum, where the subject of your jokes will likely hear themselves getting humiliated. Do you think this is a positive contribution to society or negative? I am certainly not one to be overly sensitive, and I do believe people need to grow thicker skin, but come on...You speak about God's love, and then do this...An apology is in order I would say.
It is too bad that Glenn has to scoop at such a low level... Those migraines can be a brain tumor and I know what I am talking about since I had one and had those same symptoms and they almost killed me!

I've listened to others make jokes on this, so I'm not gonna jump down Beck's throat about it.
The censorship aspect has nothing to do with it. People are offended all the time, you have every right to be offended.
I'm not gonna hold Beck to the high standards other people do. To me, he's an educator and entertainer, nothing more.
It is my perception and my choice. And I'll stand behind it. As much as people have spoken out with their opinion on it with the criticism, I've said my 2 cents on it and leave it at that. If there wasn't a counter opinion, then what's the point of posting at all? So let's just keep it simple and agree to disagree on the issue.
I can't criticize him for it because I can find humor in a lot of things. I'm not gonna stand up and proclaim that he should apologize for something that others find sensitive when I don't do the same when comedians hit on sensitive areas. To me, you don't need a license to make jokes and if I were to criticize him on a joke that even I may not agree with, I simply view myself as being a hypocrite. If his intent was to offend, I would view it in a different light, but I do not think that was the case.

I for one, am not. I suffer from Chronic Severe Headaches. No fun, not at all. I've had the speech problem as well, finding it difficult to speak and I don't find this offensive. Bad taste, yes. Offensive? No not really.
Someone once told me "Life is hard and everyone takes it differently."
I think that's the jest of this conversation and I'm glad you're not offended.
I may be harping on the subject a little and it's not that I'm suffering from some repressed memory (at least I hope not. Eeey Gads!)
But the thing is I believe that we're living in days of accountability. The world seems to have been set on fire, and it's coming down to the "Holy War" Sadam Hussain once declared.
That might sound a little wild. But I'll take it one step further and say it feels like we're in a REAL fight of good against evil. If we're going to stand for what's good and right ~ we can't afford to make careless mistakes with anything.
We have to hold on to our integrity, which is one thing Glenn says repeatedly, and so it must be with the one who heralds such action.

This irked me before I listened to it .. and kept irking me until approx the 7:00 time. Thereabouts Glenn admits to having had his own history with migraines.
Yanno.. can mock thyself and get away with it. As he did with his eyesight - seems I remember GB saying on TV that there must be something that he is not seeing that God wants him to see with less or no vision. Er... tho I don't rem GB mocking loosing his eyesight at all. Which temporarily happens in during some migraine attacks.
Mocking others disabilities tho just doesn't wash with me. My bro and I are both physically handicapped - I'm his guardian by law. From a young age it never went over well hearing anyone mock him (my disabilities are the 'fun' invisible ones). Yet twixt ourselves we have fun when WE decide to tease about our disabilities. Heh, my bro loves saying we're getting old. But tell someone else that? Only a good friend.
Sheesh Glenn. Ya shoulda started and ended with your own disabilities. Most folks do not have thick skins when it comes to being teased either in private or VERY publically. Leave that for us to do when we're up to it, ok?

Only thing GB did for ME with this imho crude like of joking was allow me a few minutes to not think about the deadly dangerous protests happening in way too many area's of our world. Or the folks BO dined with that control so much of the internet. Instead he reminded me of the jerks we've met over the years.
Bah, he didn't laugh about it much. They even felt bad about it. Most of it was how bad migraines can be. But really, on the surface, it is kind of funny what she says (not so much the reasons behind it). The reporter herself laughed at it when she viewed it.

I can't believe Beck managed to spend 5 minutes away from politics, Islamic caliphates, George Soros, revolutions, the end times, or socialists. This is what I find blasphemous. How dare he take a short breather from the doom & gloom routine? Laughter is simply unacceptable. I don't know what he was thinking, but he needs to apologize for reducing my anxiety for 2 minutes because I stopped worrying about the stuff that is going on in the world.
SENSITIVITY TRAINING NOW. I need to have my blood boiling and heart racing after listening to him for three hours or I am not satisfied. He just doesn't understand the sensitive needs of his audience. Quit making jokes and tell us about the terrible futures we're going to endure.

I have delt with migraines for years, they're not funny . It's never effected my speech but I can't function when they hit .
If Glenn really had true migraines he'd understand that . Too many people get a killer headache and call it a migraine , it's NOT the same !
There are varying degrees of Migraines. Some headaches are Migraines even without the regular symptoms. I lose my vision and experience numbness and tingling in my face and limbs, and need to be in a dark room with cool air. But when I was young I would always vomit, now I only get slight nausea. My husband gets severe sinus infections and headaches and to be honest at times I think he has been in more pain than me. So sometimes Migraines aren't the worst headaches that exist either.
If somebody had laughed and made fun of his kid he would have as he says called a expert. His experts and his people. or the millionaires that knows more than anybody else. Glenn has some good points but he can be a bragget and a ass. His experts are probably the biggest crooks there is and he has not got enough sense to know it. But as usuall Bill o always puts him in his place. Bill knows he is a NUT sometimes and it always brings it out!!!!!! I just love it when he does!!! Peole like Glenn has to be brought down every now and then!!!!!!!

Wow. Talk about missing the point. Over and over the guys say Glenn experienced debilitating migraines weekly up until about 10 years ago. I know that pain too until about a few years back. Ever since I was a kid I'd be knocked on my butt, in the dark, with the AC on full, praying to God to make the pain stop.
And I laughed my butt off at this clip. Why? Because I know what it's like.
Get a sense of humor guys, seriously. If anything, it's the people who know that pain who are allowed to poke fun at it.

As I'm reading through the comments I'm coming across many that I find reasonable and understanding. On the other hand is the comment made by Christian Hypocrite.....
In my opinion, some things need to be taken seriously for the pure sake of others. Especially when one professes their belief in Jesus, which Glenn often does.
But you know what? I'm human too. I make a lot of mistakes and learn from them. I don't always appreciate the critizism immediately, but I always learn from it, as we all do if we're reasonable.

Wow... until listening to these responses, I thought I was one of the few who had migraines. I have not had one for a while now. Over the years they morph in intensity and symptoms, but the most annoying thing is having half of your vision disappear, and the most disturbing thing is understanding perfectly what people say, and having the normal ability to think coherent thoughts, but yet not having the speech to express these coherent thoughts and expressing instead only gibberish. Its weird... knowing what I want to say, but expressing only stuttered and broken words.
Yeah, I know some of you think I express gibberish on RS on a regular basis... but migraines are real.
Migraines are real and they are not funny. Stress and lack of sleep and hormones trigger me...I smell oranges about an hour before one comes on.
As for the gibberish-no gibberish coming from you, las.....we'll leave that to the progressives.

I'm with you. I too suffer from migraine headaches. I feel that Glenns laughing at someone elses expense is very immature. Sure, laugh when someone falls down and gets back up( and is ok)- but clearly this gal has a health problem that is a serious detriment.
If anybody actually watched this whole clip, he talks about later how he had serious migraines too. And said he hadnt heard of them being as bad as this woman had and that a migraine would explain why she didnt go to the hospital after the paramedics checked her out the night it happened, but dont pay attention to that.
I love Glenn, but this was a stupid move. He went for the cheap laugh and I think it hurts his creditability. Not good. People need to tweet him on this and hope he issues an apology.

Oh come on guys. Don't be so sensitive. I can remember the first Migraine I had was in the 2nd grade and I thought I was going blind because suddenly all my friends heads disappeared from my vision. I Still suffer from them twenty years later and with each pregnancy they have become so unbearable but you cannot ignore the obvious, that this is Way Funny!!! If I traded that girl places I would be laughing right along with everyone else. Don't be so sensitive. You know that if it were a more serious medical concern they would have let this go.

I have suffered with classic migraine for 48 years. Frequently, I have three attacks a week for months on end. They have destroyed my life. And as a consequence I now have a disabling anxiety disorder and am living in poverty . Do you find that humorous as well?
No I do not find that humorous. I found her speech humorous. Not her Migraine not anyone's seizures. Show that clip to anyone without an explanation and they would say her words were funny. When did so many conservatives become so PC? It's okay to laugh at something that is funny! Don't take it so personal!

I like Beck but I think he is wrong here. My husband had an ocular migraine and he mistook it for a stroke. We spent hours in the hospital waiting for CT scans and such to make sure it wasnt a stroke. People who don't suffer these things usually don't know what they are, and can shock them, which is obviously what happened to this poor girl. I think it was very wrong of him to mock the situation, even if the reporter is okay now.
