From the speech’s classy beginning when Netanyahu pays respects to the damage that the storms have caused in Joplin, Missouri, to the end where he reminds of us the great alliance between America and Israel by quoting the inscription on the Liberty Bell, both from the one in Philadelphia and the replica that now sits in Jerusalem, “proclaim liberty throughout the land”, this speech was truly inspirational. Every time I hear Netanyahu speak, especially when he talks about Ancient Israel and how it’s a centerpiece in America’s own heritage, I am reminded of what a profound figure he is as the Prime Minister of God’s chosen people, Israel. He is truly a remarkable man and this speech reflects that.

It wasn’t without several instances of protest however, but both Netanyahu and the crowd handled it quite well.

Enjoy this speech. There will be more to come tomorrow as he addresses Congress.

You mean a leader of a country can actually give a speech in a foreign land and NOT apologize and throw his country under the bus???
I had forgotten what that was like
    Netanyahu certainly displays class.
    This made my day.
Thanks  for another fine video, Scoop.

In his 2nd language with no teleprompter… and our president could not do it in front of 6th graders or at the rodeo.

What a leader.  What a leader.   Churchill saved Western Culture and Netanyahu will save Israel.

    • Stevenbiot

I’m pretty sure that America saved Western culture and America will defend Israel at all costs. Hopefully!!!

First, Congratulations to PM Netanyahu, for
his courage and doing his duty, in standing up to Obama, and standing  up for the Israeli People, and the State of
Israel, as he has done his job accordingly as the PM of Israeli should, and he
    should continue to do so.
    PM Netanyahu will
not get any co-operation, nor any real confirmation, from this Treasonous
Despotic President, as Obama has made it clear, that he is not a friend of
Israel, or the Jewish People..  but the
opposite, an advocate, of, and for, an arb islmic mslim control over the
entire Middle East Region, with a declaration of the caliphate, with absolute
rule under sharia law, and their arab islamic muslim flag, planted firmly on
Israel and the Jewish People’s grave..

    This is all PM
Netanyahu should expect from Obama. The best option for PM Netanyahu is just
maintain security and control in Israel, as best as possible, until after the 6
Nov. 2012 Elections, so when we elect a Pro-American, Pro-Israeli,
Constitutional Conservative Republican President, then Israel can once again,
have the American Ally and friend, it needs and trusts.

    The good news is PM
Netanyahu, the State of Israel, and the all Jewish People in Israel,  still has actual real friends in America, as
we, all the Patriotic American Constitutional Conservatives, Republicans,
Independents, Libertarians, and so on, are working hard to defeat Obama, to
remove him from office and power, before and after, 6 Nov. 2012..   and now even the Jewish-American community,
who have always been loyal to the Democrats,
are finally starting to wake up to, and about Obama, and are now
starting to dry up most, if not all of their political campaign money donations
to Obama, and any other Obama Democratic candidates, and Democratic PAC
organization. But if any Jewish person even donates 1 dime or more to Obama,
and his Obamacratic Party, and or PAC’s, then they will be just as guilty as
Obama, and all the radical extremist arabs, who want, advocate, and carry out,  the destruction of Israel, the Jewish People,
America, and the rest of the Free World..
as it would be like giving campaign
money for Hitler’s election in 1932..

Israel is tied to the USA like Britain  — we have families spread over all three countries, many who have close family in all three. We have economic ties that are incredibly close, and joint investments that affect both US and Israel.

Anyone who calls for ending support for Israel is calling for something as ridiculous as deciding California is no longer to be economically linked to the USA.

Obama’s mission to destroy Israel cannot succeed in any material way.

    • Anonymous

I was with you until you said “CA is no longer to be economically linked to the USA”…..with their debt and CONSTANT re-election of those who make the debt, I would like them NOT to be part of the USA!

      • Anonymous

I figured a lot of folks would actually respond that way.  I thought it was a funny mental image.  Go San Andreas!  (but don’t hurt anybody).

        • Anonymous

It ain’t gonna be funny when the Californinuts release 33,000 criminals on the streets.  I would be surprised if obama doesn’t have the drug cartels sitting outside the gate ready to hand them some AK’s.

I’ll go ahead and check this out tomorrow—– BUT, for the meanwhile, I predict there will be lots of two-faced phony applause during the address to Congress….It will all be for show, just for the cameras.

Seeing all the warm comments here, reassures me that being on the “right” side of the Israeli politic map is okay, unlike the line the Israeli press is trying to lead.

You can almost not find an embracing and positive article/correspondent about Netnayahu and his policies that DO represent the majority of the people, but as these people are not in the media they are not heard.

Thank you The right Scoop and all the commenters below for giving the Israeli people the back they do not get from Israeli press!

    • Anonymous

      You are very welcome!

We understand what it’s like to be ignored, lied about and even verbally attacked by the press. We are so grateful to The Right Scoop and all the work he does.

I first became aware of PM Netanayhu about 1985 and haven’t the words to articulate my admiration for him.

So you have crappy media too?

  • http://www.planettron.com NickDeringer

Bibi got a much different reception than O’Barry. This is courageous leadership. In spite of his height, O’Barry is the smallest president we have ever had.

Obismal is the biggest farce to ever step in Washington and that is saying something.  To say that he is in over his head is a complete understatement.  But who am I?  I mean, I didn’t know that there are 57 states unlike Mr Brilliant

  • Philip Zhao

His speech has made BHO a clown !

  • Constance

This man has lived more in one day than our President has in his lifetime.  The history of this man is astounding.  I have profound respect for him.

  • Stevenbiot

I don’t fully understand his “unite” part of the speech. Israel seems to be a dividing topic of conversation in America. Many in our free society think that Israel should be split up with a suppressive and backwards prehistoric muslim neighbor. I can’t believe we would even think about letting dregs of society encroach on our ally in the Middle East. Our president should be ashamed and bow to the Israelis for his debauchery. Gosh, I wish our president would support our missile defense system. I disagree with Netanyahu about oil. It is the cartel Opec and the repressive muslim regimes that make oil a bullet instead of an olive branch. His description of that amazing natural resource is like blaming guns for murder, instead of blaming the idiots that pull the trigger. We support you Israel!! Our president is a coward and was installed in the oval office based on guilt and as Mark Levin says, “a cult of personality.”

  • MaxSteele

“Israel is not what’s wrong in the middle east.  Israel is what’s right in the middle east!!”  AMEN!

    • Stevenbiot

His comment you quoted seems like a no-brainer. Do we want to step into the 21st century, or regress into the 7th?

  • Robbyahm

Israel is the most civilized, prospering nation in the most dysfuntional region off the face of this planet.

  • Persephone

    We need a Bibi.

I notice he doesn’t drag a teleprompter around with him, like our SockPuppet-in-Chief.

Made me proud to be an Israeli!!  Oh – wait,  I’m an American….at least I still remember when being an American made me feel the same way!  Oh, what a difference a leader makes!
