This is a pipe dream. The only way legally owned weapons could be confiscated in this country is with the help of the military...and that would lead to civil war or something similar. This is Biden running off at the mouth once again. What a fool.
What is also happening is the government is not only trampling on our rights under the 2nd Amendment, they are also using it to restrict our rights under the 1st Amendment. This situation can get out of hand real fast. Should the Obama administration sign an executive orders banning more than the high power semi automatics we may see civil unrest break out in some parts of the country. What would be interesting to see will be how the WH handles the situation should it happen. We could very possibly have a State-vs-Central Government break down, and the Revolution begins……
And since he will have trampled the 2nd amendment into a gooey mess, then it will be so easy to eliminate the 1st as well. He certainly isn't a very good student of history.
So, ah, when the hell is someone in congress going to begin the impeachment process against Obama? Is it me, or are well all being led down the garden path to a new communist regime with not one person standing up against the media or the regime??? WAKE UP.

RS Congress is not just broken it's a disgrace but the house still has powers and it should use impeachment and the reason for that is - it is a Constitutional step by which the people attempt to stop a president from being like obama... Then we have to find other ways to stop this man from taking over the government or stealing it from the people.... But some of us have for to long been sleeping instead of watching this government grant powers to itself that it can not grant and then not saying a word when they have woke up and seen the great giant stepping on its citizens...

Obama will claim it is for the greater good as good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It's not too much to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all eras who mean to govern well, but they really mean to goven. They promise to be good masters, and they really mean to be masters. Those words by Daniel Webster are as true today as they were when he said them.
Tyrants have always tried to accomplish their purposes by disarming the people and making it an offense to keep and bear arms, but gee whiz that ole Constitution hits them right in the face. Vladamir Lenin said, "A system of licensing and registration is the perfect device to deny gun ownership"; while Mao Tse tung said, "Every communist must grasp the truth, political power grows out of the barrel of a gun."
these people are really pushing, hard. How we react remains to be seen. The Scope and breadth of these progressives' disdain for our country is crystalizing. If they act and we don't react, they win. If we react, this could lead to all sorts of government illegalities, which they think they can benefit from. In the end, what choice to free people have when a government subverts the laws they swore to uphold.

Here's one action we can all get involved in:
The NRA has published a list of organizations and individuals who support "gun control."
Let's ignore the use of the left's language here (namely "gun control")... I took a look at the list, and it isn't just PBS sponsor organizations or lobbying groups. It's a really big list, including businesses you buy things from.
What we can all do is begin writing letters. Lots and lots of letters. And make sure those businesses know we will not support them. Let's get busy!
(By the way, for some reason, the NRA has made the list hard as heck to find from their websites, and no one who has been flogging this story has provided a link. I dug deep with some search-fu, and found the source code version for you Scoopers, so please spread that link, so it has some credibility behind it. If you can go to a conservative site out there, or to places like the Blaze, foxnews, mediaite, etc, let them know that the NRA link above is the one they should be using.)
Looking over the list, particularly the "actors", it struck me as sadly ironic how many of them make their living portraying characters that make use of violence and gratuitous gun play. Blatant hypocrisy on full display.
Most good actors are like hollow shells. They know almost nothing about reality, other than to act, and toe the liberal line. I won't watch interviews with actors anymore, because I'm tired of expecting someone as intelligent as the characters they play.

Facebook sucks it just makes you think you've accomplished something because you can post it so easy. What the hell are 10,000 likes if nothings actually done (not that I get 10,000 likes) but you get what I mean.
Anyone born as stupid and arrogant as Obama will never understand that, like the little, pajama-clad Viet Namese Nationalists in the Central Highlands of the RVN in 1968, gun owners are looking forward to a fight. And how many lives will this action COST us, with undefended people being killed by armed criminals? THAT blood will be on Obama’s hands, not that he would mind in the least. He probably thinks, “Hey, you have to break a few eggs to make an omlette, right?”
I guess it would be different if it was HIS wife or one of HIS daughters that was killed by a criminal armed with a weapon. Actually, all he would have to do to find out what that’s like is by going home to Chicago, where the murder rate is skyrocketing, even though it has tough gun control laws.
Obama really, really, doesn’t understant what he’s doing. If it’s a civil war he wants, it’s a civil war he’s going to get. Unlike Lincoln, who tried to unite a fractured nation, this nut is trying to tear apart a united nation. I tremble when I think what’s going to happen in some states if he tries this. The only thing these laws are going to do is dramatically increase the number of gun sales all over this nation. It will have the opposite effect that he intends, and that will only cost lives in the long run.
They will have an insurrection on their hands if they attempt to legislate gun control via executive fiat,or by any means for that matter.Keep your powder dry.
The ONLY gun law that is legal in this country is the Second Amendment! All others are ILLEGAL and in violation of the Constitution of the United States. Anyone attempting to impose any other law are doing so in direct violation of the will of the people and need to be arrested and tried for treason.
Every killing or murder that occurs after this bull PUKEY decree, is directly tied to this Son of Kenyan Marxist commie. As well as anyone remotely agreeing with it. Heck the planned parenthood killers admitted to killing 333,964 babies just this past year and are bragging that they profited from it. In the same breath they refer to US good law abiding citizens as war mongers and haters.
In case you wonder why I, not an American citizen, am so appalled by this situation, and am 100% behind you all defending the 2nd Amendment, this is why:
* I think the Bill of Rights and the Constitution are the most important documents in the history of human freedom and endeavour. They must be defended tooth and claw for the sake of mankind.
* I think that the world will become a very dark place indeed should your glorious country fall into the hands of those who have despised mankind since Marx put pen to paper. Communism is not noble, communism is nothing more than organised crime, cloaked in pieties. It is, as George Orwell put it, a boot forever stomping on the face of humanity.
* I think that in a world where Christianity is under threat from both islam and the left's, the atheists' secularism, America is the last bastion of Christians. Should the POS be successful, then Open Doors USA (if it still is allowed to exist) will have to add the USA to its list of countries where Christians are persecuted.
We can see that the attempt to scrap the 2nd Amendment, by whatever means, will lead to persecution and death, not just in the USA but in a short while everywhere else as well.
That's why I stand with you all defending your rights - because, as John Donne said, 'no man is an island'.

I guess we've have taken not backed down to any tyranny over the last 50 odd years, another one, home grown this time, won't make much difference, except this time, no rules of engagement.
I am certain the Obama minions, the liberals who have been raised to despise, hate, ridicule and humiliate conservatives, will mot consider any mercy on gun owners and patriots in rendering their fellow citizens into slavery or death, having cut their teeth on the most violent, video games imaginable. They have been adequately brain- washed to consider themselves brave, fearless and deadly.
It will be interesting to see how these videos warrior react to real blood and personal pain and loss.

This is the same president that was making fun of the "Tea Baggers" as he put it. He may be a good orator (with a teleprompter), but apparently he isn't a very good student of history. Maybe he should open a couple of history books and see who the original Tea Party type people were. See what happened when the general population was upset enough for a revolution. The down side to this civil war is the "Union" will obviously be on the wrong side.
He'll try, and fail. No legislation can overturn a Constitutional amendment. It requires a Constitutional Convention, with ratification of 38 (I think) states. This is how Prohibition was ended, not through legislation. But the "low information voters" don't know this, and King Barry is counting on that.
This Hispanic putz that has introduced a bill to extend presidential terms (Jose Serrano) will learn the same thing. And If King Barry gets away with it, I predict armed anarchy in the streets. Literally.
I can't coherently express my outrage without devolving into profanity, so allow me to just say that this is incredibly frightening and I sincerely hope that any executive orders are promptly challenged legally.

I have already contacted my representatives and stated that should this President fail to observe his oath of office and exercises unconstitutional powers, I will not comply. People, we outnumber them. There simply are not enough prisons to hold all of us in. I did NOT give 20 years of my life for a President to issue an illegal order usruping the very Constitution that both he and I swore to uphold. To say there is nothing we can do is not correct. We can choose not to obey an unlawful order, afterall in the military there is a UCMJ article that can prosecute military personel for following an unlawful order. Too bad there is not a law similar to this for not following our Constitution.

Biden can't speak to moral issues. Example (one of many) He completely contradicted himself (in a single sentence, no less) while debating Paul Ryan during the election; stating his belief that life begins at conception, but refused to get in the way of a woman's right to choose.
So, the baby might be alive, but doesn't have the RIGHT to be alive until his/her method of processing oxygen changes? Umm..
Left-wing logic: The woman not feeling like carrying the baby is more important than the baby's life. If you don't feel like caring for your children, killing them is evidently acceptable.
That one will be easily defended in a federal court. It might take a while, but the right of the people to bear arms is not to be infringed upon. I am not sure how the states or cities have been able to take that right away, seeing it is not reserved to the states.
As Bill Whittle tweaked that poem by Kipling "The Gods of the Copybook Headings" a short while ago (rightscoop put it up), I'm doing the same for Kipling's famous poem:

Another great poem that warns of revolution in my own country is GK Chestertons 'The Secret People' which ends with these last two verses:

Has to be said I can't see armed revolution in the UK - we shall slide gracefully into EU despotism with only the barest murmer of dissent - but US politicians should remember their own history and realise that their electorate are the sons and daughters of those who have already fought for their freedoms the once. Why would they assume it couldn't happen again?
Yes - and there's an interesting difference: most of our politicians still know some of Kipling's poems, so one only has to say - remember 'Beginnings'? and they know immediately what we're telling them (say in regard to muslim immigrants).
Obama and Biden and the whole left have either never heard of Kipling od denounce him as a right wingnut.
So they haven't a clue: they don't know the poem, they wouldn't understand the warning in it - and the don't see that they are not just playing with fire, but only one small step away from the abyss.
They'll go down, and serves them right.
