Pretty amazing hearing this from Biden. No politician in our lifetime has been MORE WRONG on foreign policy, MORE OFTEN than Biden. This guy opposed Operation Desert Storm, wanted to divide Iraq into three countries, etc., etc.

At what point in time will it occur to Biden that he and Obama ran on a platform where talking with Iran was the answer? That the entire world agreed with them. That in no way would they be implementing "Bush's third term.?
At no time did they ever mention that they would be unable to convert the rest of the world to their ideas. Yes, those very same ideas, that during their campaign - they claimed were their own.
In fact, didn't Obama get a Peace Prize? Didn't the rest of the world fall in love with him? Whatever happened to that?

More setting of the stage- My guess is that Biden is getting the boot for Hilary, and they are trying to associate all the baggage from the administration to Biden so that they can spin it as a renewed campaign that American can believe in because now they got rid of the problem.
Look for more "gaffes" as Biden begins to get heat and start going uber crazy by talking poorly on the economy and pushing the failed policies such as stimulus and Solyndra as great implementations of government.
My husband agrees with you Ozzie. He thought Obama would replace Biden with Hilary from the start.
My husband thinks it will be a way for Obama to attempt to capture some of the Hilary supporters back who had their heart ( and mind ) stolen by Gov Palin.
I dont think they will come back to Hillary but then again- there are an awful lot that say they wont vote for Romney. So that could be Obamas plan.

We still have the respect of the countries that matter,our true allies. They see the situation for what it is.They know what happens when too many stupid people were taught by Acorn how to vote.Hopefully after four years the ignorant will have forgotten they know how and stay home. By the way.. you said he needs to find himself a solid running mate. There is not one in the Democrat Party, they forced all those decenters from the Hard-LIne Liberal Mantra out years ago. The last they tossed was Senator Joseph Lieberman and I don't think any are left.
Obama would have to go to the GOP to get a solid running mate and I don't think anyone there is likely to take the job.
In all seriousness, I think Biden is a complete loose cannon. I don't think he says what Obama wants him to; I truly think he's a complete fool and is constantly off message.
I don't know the Dem heavy hitters, but Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton come to mind. I'm just saying, he'd be smart to dump the loser of a VP and go with someone to stir up excitement in his camp.

I'm half expecting Biden to "retire" soon to "spend more time with family" and Hillary to "step up to the calling" and become the Veep for the reelection bid. Won't do Obama any good because I think he really is ONE and DONE! but should be interesting to see how they'd spin it if it happened.
