It is very clear, after listening to this, that O’Reilly doesn’t have a clue about Beck and his radio or TV shows. O’reilly proceeds to define the differences between the two of them and gets Beck all wrong. He accuses Beck of speculating on almost everything he does, not having the proof to suggest that everyone around Obama is a communist. But Beck fires back that he has never accused everyone around Obama of being a communist, only certain people, and only because they’ve said it with their own lips and he’s played that for his audience.

They eventually come to an agreement of sorts, but what is clear is how arrogant O’Reilly really is, in that know-it-all kinda way.

I think his #1 show has gone to his head.

Well I'd say their next Bold and Fresh tour ought to be pretty interesting. I've watched Beck and O'Reilly for awhile now and it seems there is some growing perhaps underlying disagreements. I just don't get O'Reilly's position though about Beck dealing only in theories when he consistentlly backs up his allegations with verified documents or video. Makes for interesting debate and perhaps that is the motive behind some of this.

I don't know how anyone who watches 10 minutes of The Factor can see O'Reilly as anything other than an egotistical gasbag cowardly jerk. Coward being is number one trait. Bill O'Reilly is a typical bully. He attacks when he smells fear, but his idea of courage and cowardice are so ass backwards that it's pathetic.

Bill is so afraid of being called a conservative that he bends over backwards to kiss the ass of any liberal who he feels is brave for coming on his show. He does it time and time again.

If he really does go after the State Department guy tomorrow night I'll be pretty shocked. Chances are much better that he will commend the guy for coming on the factor and thank him for being a stand up guy no matter what he says. Just because he came on the Factor. That's Bill's idea of courage.

O'Reilly needs Beck for more than Beck needs him. You'll notice that Beck is a guest on far more shows on a regular basis than O'Reilly is. I really wonder sometimes if O'Reilly is going senile, might be why he seems to be drifting towards “RINOism”.

BOR just can't believe he has been so wrong about BHO. He still wants to win the big interview.

I think most people get it. O'reilly latched on to Beck early on and is probably aware that Beck will overtake him. If you've noticed at the end of BO shows he know has a feedback section and he's recently turned more aggressive conservative like the old days in order to regain some ratings.

Too late Bill- your megalomania is too much for your audience to bear and GB comes on the scene with information and humility.

BO is just trying to outline the differences between them and attempting marginalize GB's work to increase his standing as the “go to” voice of traditional Americans.

Sorry Bill, we found someone who doesn't kiss ass, doesn't take a false morally righteous stance, and isn't scared or beholden to an agenda to speak or not to speak against something.

    A Question for Bill O'Reilly…

Many of us who listen to Beck on his radio program… daily, and who also watch Beck on TV and the internet… daily, sometimes also watch O'Reilly on TV.

Why do we consistently watch Beck on TV and “sometimes” watch O'Reilly on TV, since both O'Reilly and Beck comment on the news of the day?

Well, this is only on man's opinion, of course, but I have noticed a HUGE difference between O'Reilly and Beck…

O'Reilly comments on the news and Beck comments on the news AND Beck also MAKES the news…

… for example Beck's “Crime.Inc” theme currently progressing to a “24″ style conclusion.

Also, the ongoing attempt by Obama acolytes, uh, spokesmen such as Jim Wallis, Van Jones and handy-dandy Andy Stern, and others in Congress, to affect Beck's advertisers on radio and tv. The has-been lap-dog media are nowhere on this.

So, the question for Bill O'Reilly about O'Reilly's “facts” vs Beck's “theories”…

Bill, my radio and tv informed observation about Beck's “theories” is that his theories are based on a solid foundation and a HUGE mountain of facts, but Bill, to what “theories” are your facts leading you, hmm?

The Beck programs with the “24″ conclusion style, in addition to the content, of course, might be why some of us watch O'Reilly on tv “sometimes” and Beck all the time, and again on the internet.

Makes the news is about right. He's working on the same puzzle many others have been trying to put together, and he's not afraid of where it will take him. Most others on TV and radio (I say most because there are some out there that don't play into the game) are willfully blind because they don't want to be ridiculed or marginalized themselves.

Glenn used the phrase on his radio show recently; normalcy bias is that people want to believe that everything is okay because it helps give them a sense of safety.

O'reilly is in that trap for maybe that reason, but I think it's mostly for his personal stake in it, his ego demands that he protect himself.

I still watch both, but now I just pile O'reilly into the blowhard category whereas Glenn has done his homework, and understands what he is talking about and WHY. What makes me angry is that O'reilly often uses his classical bully tactics (derision or yelling in the face of guests) to try to talk down his opponents. Occasionally it is necessary when a person is dodging a question, but how many times have you seen O'reilly make a snide comment about a guest or their work just as the interview starts. It's a way he tries to put people in their place and to let everyone know who he is (ego).

When O'reilly really shines is when he walks the fence and covers both sides of an issue. He has played the middle of the fence guy for a few years now (although that is changing back to his classic self) and it has worked for him. Not for me since I am to the right and closer to Libertarian views- He does a good job when he's not too emotionally involved in his crusade, as illustrated by his motto “We're looking out for you”.

BOR has the uncanny ability to come down squarely on both sides of any issue. After listening to him for a few years, I've come to the conclusion that he has no idea what he believes.
