One of the first things any Marxist, communist, and socialist state does is take away the guns of its citizens. And if we know nothing of this administration and the left is that they want total control over everything and everyone. History has proven that time and time again.

What we need is a President who will stand up and say to Congress and the States this is what the 2nd amendment say...and by E.O. I here by declare that there should be NO gun control in this country because "the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed".

It doesn't get any clearer than the last statement: When they take our guns, then they'll seek to take our God and that's when American's will fight back!

NOT infringed. That means no licensing, no restrictions on what type of firearms one may buy. If my neighbor wants to buy a machine gun he should be able to as long as he doesn't use it for illegal purposes.
A line in the sand has to be drawn on this issue.
I've said it many times before, I don't really think Obama unserstands the fire he's playing with by wanting to disarm the American public. Criminals will always be able to get guns and lots of them. These new laws Obama and his minions are proposing will only make it harder for average Americans to get ANY guns, which is a de facto form of gun control. Do you really, honestly, think a crack dealer is concerned about a background check for his illegally obtained weapons? So who really are these background checks geared for? Why YOU, of course, to control you and to make sure you never, ever, cause any problems if the government decides to assume dictatorial powers over all Americans. Obama and Biden are just another group of liberals who are only interested in the ever-widening growth of government along with its never-ending power. The Second Amendment is the only thing that stands between us and yet another slave state, and this is very evident to the people in this video who certainly know a lot about slave states.
One of the best histories on this is Clarence Thomas's opinion in McDonald v Chicago, the gun case. He starts with Cruishank which was a case about 100-250 blacks being killed trying to stop the Democrats for a force-takeover of the Governor's office.

I love that these people are presenting history finally. The Dems have a lot of American blacks discombobulated believing opposite about the dems' responsibility in the history of slavery, Jim Crow, KKK and every civil rights act in US history.
Amen! Just WOW! I just sent this to all my friends, as well. Black and white! This is an impressive ad and I was encouraged by many of the various thoughts spoken in it.
Americans who don't believe in God cannot agree that "without God" "America is done." Belief in God is an individual choice. If it is made to be beyond an individual choice, then it is anti-American and anti-Constitution. The Constitution protects our right to freedom of religion, and without the Constitution, there is no freedom and no United States of America.
Yes, you are right...America stands for freedom of choice. We are the most religiously tolerant country on the face of the earth. You can be atheist, buddhist, mormon, you can be any religion you want to be and be welcome here...and protected by our constitution as well.....until your religion teaches that you must kill another religion. Radical Islam is a cult. They are not peaceful. They do not want to be here to practice freedom of speech and religion, therefore, they should not be here and we have every right to have our constitution respected by those who do come here. Our constitution also allows us the right to bear arms and protect ourself. And we will die doing just that.
A few points:
1.) My comment never mentioned Islam.
2.) However, the Constitution does protect people's right to practice Islam.
3.) The Constitution DOES NOT protect people's right to murder. No matter what religion you are, you can't murder. So Muslim terrorists will be prosecuted under the laws of the land, as will terrorists of other faiths.
The above comment seems to make sweeping generalizations about Islam in general, generalizations that could condemn all Muslims to being viewed as terrorists. Of course that is not true. You only need one example of a non-terrorist Muslim to disprove the point, and of course there are much more than one example. It is interesting, however, that the above comment specifically says "Radical Islam" is a cult, which would leave the status of non-radical Islam up in the air. Of course, radical Islam is a cult. Radical interpretation of any religion is cult-like and dangerous. The above commenter must either a.) admit that non-radical Islam isn't a cult and isn't terrorist or b.) admit that her comment makes broad generalizations about Islam (if she doesn't agree with point a).
I believe a major point being over looked throughout this string is the "hands-off" policy this administration and the lame-stream media have taken towards Islam in any form. My questions is "why."?

Do you know peaceful muslims and if you do....do other muslims know they are not of the radical mindset??? If a Muslim follows their faith...and believe in the Koran...they are taught that Christians are evil and should be killed. So, my opinion is that anyone who really is worshipping Mohammed, is indeed a radical Islamist. If they are not, then they are not Muslim. If they don't worship Mohammed, then who??? I was wondering when someone would ask the black community what they think about gun control and, also, who really thinks that the black community is going to voluntarily give up their guns? And, do we really think the police or authorities are going to go into the black ghettos and start taking guns away from blacks. This is not going to happen.

Very important truths were spoken in this short video. Skin color has nothing to do with Patriotism. Patriotism springs from the beliefs in a persons soul as this outstanding group of people showed. I would love to see the whole thing.

I'm so happy to see Black leaders speaking out like this. Whether or not it should be the case, Blacks have more credibility on the topic of oppression of Blacks in U.S. history. This isn't enough, though. The truth in this message must be repeated in many more places and at many more times until everyone understands the importance of our right to bear arms and the important role the NRA has played in helping to make that right a reality for all Americans.

This should be part of Black History Month education in our colleges (and all schools). Not enough of the constitution being taught in any of them.

I sure am with you on that, OneThinDime...I have often wondered when we can celebrate White History Month. We are a nation of many immigrants, Germany, Ireland, England, France, Italy, etc. But if we do have to have Black History month then it should be taught correctly. I'm sick and tired of having to pay a debt and even things up for slavery....I never owned one. Sorry if that sounds crude, don't mean it that way. Just sayin...

We are prohibited from having anything white, not White History month, not the White Congressional Caucus, not the White Music Awards, etc.
I posted elsewhere about the negative impacts to women. I've never heard women ask for reparations, there is no holiday for a woman. Women's property became their husbands when they married and women were shamed if they chose not to marry and had to fight like h311 to go to college. It was not until the 1840s that states began to pass laws that gave women property rights (including the right to own a firearm). It wasn't until the 1960s that women began to push for equal pay (and still doesn't occur if you look at the differences in the Obama Admin and Pelosi staff), and the freedom to plan to have families or not.
I posted some links in response to someone elsewhere on how women and girls are still sold into slavery today. I'm on a soapbox and I'm going to stop now. We are all Americans and it is time to say things were legal then, they are not now and we are a stronger nation because of all we have learned in our history.

One of the gentlemen there, which did not speak here once said when comparing the dumocrats Vs republicans "The democrats feed you fish for one day, and the republicans give you the fishing rod and teach you how use it to feed you for a lifetime". To me is one of the best anologies when comparing Philosophies.
If the media believes that this government and all the statists that are pushing for gun control, will stop there they better think again, because their right of free speech, which is also protected under the constitution is going to be next.
