This ad epitomizes the difference between a liberal Democrat, and a Conservative Republican- aka leadership, integrity, virtue, courage, professionalism, and service to one's country- not to one's drunken self..
WOW- This may be the best ad of all time. I love everything Rep. Col. West stands for and is about, and this ad in 30 seconds tells anyone with at least half a brain that there is NO contest. There is no comparison- 1 MAN prepares him men to defend and fight for freedom; and 1 rich BOY parties at a club in Miami, gets crazy drunk, ejected, fights with police and arrested. Both are seeking the same seat in Congress. Patrick Murphy should just go and do some designer drugs and get drunk and let the MAN handle business in FL & DC. West needs to be Prez of USA someday. We need this MAN.
If they can't get Paquiao and Mayweather in a ring together, I say they book a fight between Allen West and Bob Beckel.
That wouldn't be a fight; that would be a workout for Allen, as he'd kick's Beckel's fat ass all over the place.
Anyone that can't see the honesty, integrity, intelligence, and civility of Allen West and understand that he is part of what makes this country great, is just too damned stupid to vote.
Gotta love the fact that some young men go straight to their duty, while others are still wondering what they want to be when they make it to age 30.

Just to clarify for some other national campaigns (I won't name any names), this is an example of "taking the gloves off".
Dirty move by West. Come on. Why use an incident from 30 years ago. Okay, 20 yrs ago. Well yeah, it was only 9 yrs ago but still, Patrick Murphy was just a little kid then. Adult? Well, he was arrested because he is a minority and you can't fault an Irish for fighting... its their nature!
Bottom line: West should know better. He obviously forgot all the diversity lessons he received while in the military. You know, like the ones provided by CAIR and other groups.
As an officer, I'm betting Allen West had to dress down his men for fighting in bars a few times.
ESPECIALLY if they lost the fight.
If only Obama had displayed a lifetime of the same character, courage, patriotism, and intellect that LTC West has, - he'd be a shoe-in for re-election.
Fortunately for the Floridians of the 18th Congressional district, you have Allen West. Up here in Massachusetts we have 9 socialist MoonBats running for re-election, and damned few real Republicans to oppose them. Allen West was WARMLY received here when he visited the Old North Bridge and the Lexington Green.
Florida, please help save the country! Re-elect Allen, but FIRE Obama!

Ace has a link covering how Patrick Murphy is counterattacking by claiming West was kicked out of the Army for his well known interaction with an Iraqi suspect.
Of course West wasn't kicked out (though he was reprimanded). He did eventually resign...after proving himself to be Col. Badass and a man who knows how to get things done. Him and Jack Baur need to do a show together.

Awesome. I love West's 'take no prisoners' attitude. I hope others are paying attention and learning from this.
Last week I was placing a comment on an article at Stacy McCain's place. Due to some weird timing bug, it got attached instead to a comment that wasn't even "up" yet at his site. Disqus simply "loses the handle" from time to time.
Yesterday I had comments disappear entirely only to return some 15 minutes later. :-(
