I love fire. I once drove to a house fire that I heard on a scanner to see it in person and due to my youth and rather stark ineptness at life, I was given a polygraph by the SBI to find out if I was the one who set the fire. Apparently it was arson and the owner of the house wasn’t to fond of me trying to strike up a conversation with him while the fire department was putting it out. (I didn’t know he was the owner). Yeah, I was a bit stupid back then.
Ah the good ol’ days.
Anyway I found this today and thought some of you might enjoy watching it. Apparently a Yacht caught fire off the coast of Florida as a couple was returning it to it’s owner. They escaped with the help of a ‘passer by’, but the boat was burned down to the frame. The article notes that the wind whipped up the fire and caused it to spread, which could be true, but my first impression of the yacht, fully in flame, was a bit more skeptical. I mean the whole thing was on fire, as you’ll see in the video. Just looks a bit suspicious to me. Plus the article never gave a reason for why the fire started.
