Bob Beckel says that the Jewish voters in NY-09 district turned their back on the party that has constantly supported them:
Frankly, they have the right to vote for whoever they want to, obviously. If they want to turn their back on the party that’s constantly supported them when the other party hasn’t, that’s their business. … Barack Obama has spent more time in his two, two and a half years working on Israel than the previous administration did in eight years.
But look, it gets back to [the fact that] Obama made a fundamental error. He never should have stood up before Netanyahu got here and gave that speech declaring the ’67 borders.
A fundamental mistake? He acts as if Obama’s speech was just a miscalculation. But it’s a huge issue based on anti-Israel ideology. Obama wants to divide Israel in half and shrink it down to borders that are indefensible. And he proclaimed this to the world!
