UPDATED – BILL PASSES: Boehner 3.0 & Debt Limit Updates Thread

***UPDATE (3)***

I’ve been unable to wade into the details of how things have gone down this morning but I wanted to start a thread so we could keep you updated pretty easily. As it stands now, I believe there is to be a vote on the House Floor around 6:30PM EDT on the *new and improved* Boehner 3.0 bill which should pass with the added Balanced Budget Amendment.

Here’s my problem with this whole mess. I don’t even know why we are voting on the Boehner bill anymore because it’s already become common knowledge that Boehner, Reid & McConnell are working on what Rush has referred to as Plan C. I wrote about it last night and it doesn’t make sense to vote on this one if something else is in the works. As I said before, this whole process seems upside down.

In any event, I’ll try and keep you updated with the latest information and please feel free to use the comments to post updates as well. I’ll lock this post in the top corner for the evening.

UPDATE (1): Boehner gave one heck of a speech on the House Floor a bit ago. If I thought this wasn’t just a show, I might be excited about it. Either way watch below:

They are now voting to revise Boehner’s initial bill and it’s passing with flying colors. The final vote is next.

UPDATE (2): The Boehner Plan passes the House. The vote is 218-210. Big deal. Now onto Plan C!

UPDATE (3): Harry Reid tabled the bill while it was still hot. Like we didn’t see that coming.
