This morning Boehner told ABC that he absolutely trusts Obama, that there is no issue there:

How in the world could Boehner say something so idiotic. Obama is a pathological liar and has been for as long as we’ve known about him. Boehner himself has gotten burned from Obama lying to the American public over and over to force Boehner’s hand of compromise. Ugh. This is another reason Boehner needs to go.

But on the flip side of this interview, Boehner is getting a bad rap for his comments on the debt crisis. What Boehner said above is that we don’t have a debt crisis over us now, but we’ve got one coming that we must do something about. And he’s right. But he isn’t agreeing with Obama on the debt crisis. As he points out, Obama believes we don’t need to do anything to even avert a looming debt crisis. Boehner says that’s entirely wrong and we do need to reform our entitlements before this looming debt crisis hits us.

So to be fair to Boehner, while he is a terrible Speaker and needs to go, he’s not wrong in what he said on the debt crisis.

Even Paul Ryan agrees:

I have a physician friend who knows a lot about the subject of alcoholism and its treatment and he feels Boehner is a practicing alcoholic. If so, he needs an intervention before he gives away the country!

Absolutely NO difference anymore between the Demunists and the run-of-the-mill Repubs. This idiot is living proof.

Who supports the Republican Party anymore? Not me! I will vote for CONSERVATIVES only until the whole mess falls apart and the second American Revolution commences.

Ohio are you listening? Republicans with some semblance of conservative values are you listening?

Boehner and and Ryan passed huge spending bills under George W. Why would they NOT do the same under Obama?  It consolidates their power when he leaves to not TOUCH Obamacare.

Would you stay with a doctor who says "let's leave the cancer there - surgery is TOO TOUGH on your skin, we'll have to cut you open, and all that time spent healing - let's just kind of, uh, manage it, hedge it in a little and see what happens; It's seems pretty comfortable in there and besides everything else looks pretty good in the rest of your body."

Yeah - that's what the depraved, emasculated Republicans are capitulating to with our heads on the chopping block.

They want to be collegial, while the liberals invade our homes, molest our children and set fire to our houses and next, move to our neighbors.

Just calling it what it is.

We had a chance in January, but no one really stepped up and the so called opposition to Boehner faltered, so we're stuck with him and the rest of the lot.

People did step up, unfortunately Cantor would have been no better, he is also a RINO and sells us out at every corner.

I agree with Boehner.  I abslolutely trust Obama to act like a petulant child and trust that negotiating with him is useless.  We are going to have to read between the lines from now on.  Remember that the clueless want the Congress to do their business in a bipartisian manner.  s/

Out of 300 million people in this country, this is the best they have for Speaker of the House?  I'm really getting tired of his district for putting him on this country.  For God's sake, he's as dangerous as Obama.  I'm beginning to think he's in bed with him.

There's something not right about Boehner.  If he says something like that, we have big problems.  With everything that man has done, and the lies he's told, to say you trust him?  I don't think Boehner's mentally right.  There's just something wrong there.  He needs to be removed, because at the very least, he lacks good judgement.  We deserve better than this garbage.  He's not fit to serve in Congress, especially in the Speakers position.

OneThinDime

You're right, just like "ObamaCare is the law of the land", no amendments permitted for the continuing resolution.  The lashback against him and the Repubs needs to be firm and swift. The gov't is only funded for a few more months.

Which bridge did Bonehead Boehner buy from Nero Obama this week?

The Golden Gate Bridge or George Washington Bridge?

With leaders like this running Congress and Rove running the GOP it begs the question: Does Mark Levin really think that the GOP can ever be taken back to the principles of Ronald Reagan?  If so, in what millenium and in what alternate universe does Mark Levin envisage that ever happening?

I think until then I'll be happy to be an Independent unless the TEA Party/NRA/Pro-Life people ever decide they've also had enough of the Big Whigs of the GOP and form a genuinely conservative alternative party to challenge the two wings of the same Big Government Party made up of the incestuous advisers and strategists of both the Democrats and Republicans.

Great timing John. Just hours ago Sarah Palin called Barack Obama a liar, in no uncertain terms. It couldn't be more black and white. Who should really be our Speaker of the House? Who is the crack pot or Whacko Bird and who speaks the truth?  Who has the common sense to represent "we the people" and who is clinging to the crony vestiges of power? Seems clear to me.

Boehner is an idiot. Ryan smartly used Reagan's line in dealing wiithn the Soviet Union "Trust but verify". How easy would it be for Boehner to say he's mislead me before, misrepresented my parties positions and has grossly exaggerated the effects of spending cuts?

Boehner can't be a spokesman because he isn't very smart, can't think on his feet and gives conflicting comments. He really is a disaster.
