This is my favorite clip from today’s press conference. White House reporter Hans Nichols from Bloomberg News calls Jay Carney out for categorically saying on one hand that no one from the White House was involved in the IRS scandal yet on the other hand saying they still don’t have all of the facts on the IRS scandal, essentially asking how Carney knows no one was involved if he doesn’t have all the facts. Boom!
Cue the Benny Hill music and watch Carney dance:
That was awesome. Carney ends up having to back down on his categorical claim that no one in the White House was involved.
