It’s breaking all over twitter that Olbermann is announcing his last night on Countdown! According to the Breaking News on twitter, it sounds like MSNBC is the one terminating the contract:

Brian Stelter reports:
Effective Monday, @Lawrence O’Donnell anchors at 8 and Ed Schultz anchors at 10. @Maddow stays at 9.
So it looks like Olbermann is the first to get the boot in the new Comcast-ier version of MSNBC.
