A reporter asked Jay Carney earlier today if President Obama has been briefed at all on the Solyndra debacle. Carney mused that Obama has “probably read some news accounts of it” but to his knowledge hasn’t been briefed and really there is “not a lot to brief him about.”
Allrighty then!
Carney also writes the whole thing off as an investment [of $535 million in public funds] that unfortunately didn’t pan out, implying that China was to blame for the companies demise.
