CBC Chief: If Bill Clinton were president, we’d probably be marching on the White House

Emmanuel Cleaver, head of the Congressional Black Caucus, hides behind the cloak of those who ‘hate’ the president in order to protect the president. Of course, he’s talking about the Tea Party – that goes without saying.

But what he is really doing is trying to hide his own bias by projecting racism/hate on others. He doesn’t want to march on the White House because Obama’s the first black president. How would it look for black people to march against the first black president?

But they can easily and often accuse other people of ‘hating’ the president because he’s black. They just don’t want to admit they love him because he’s black:

McClatchy DC – If (former President) Bill Clinton had been in the White House and had failed to address this problem, we probably would be marching on the White House,” Cleaver said. “There is a less-volatile reaction in the CBC because nobody wants to do anything that would empower the people who hate the president. …

Cleaver is a lifelong Democrat who prizes political loyalty, and the black unemployment dilemma has put him and the group he leads in the awkward position of criticizing the policies of a president they admire, but not the president himself.

“It’s not personal,” Cleaver said. “They’re attacking his policies, or lack thereof, with regard to this gigantic unemployment problem among African-Americans. If we can’t criticize a black president, then it’s all over.”

Wow! They can question the president on “his policies, or lack thereof” but not the Tea Party, they must be racist.

The dishonesty of these people, some of whom claim to be Christians, is so thick that you need a chainsaw to cut through it. We must defeat these people in 2012.

To quote an idiot on TV, “But resist we much, we must, and we will much, about that, be committed.”
