Cheney’s VP advice to Romney: Don’t pick a VP because they are Hispanic or a woman

Dick Cheney says that picking a VP is the first big decision a president has to make and it will be scrutinized accordingly. And in his opinion the most important criterion in selecting a VP, despite what the talking heads will say, isn’t that they are Hispanic or that they are a woman, as he says elections are rarely decided on those issues. No, he says the most important criterion is that they are able to be president.
