City shuts down teen’s hot dog vendor cart!

And before he even gets started selling hot dogs. The parents checked with the city and they said it’d be fine if this 13-year-old entrepreneur sold hot dogs in the city. He was on private property (a retail store) and had the permission of owner. They asked the city about permits and even visited city hall in person to ensure it was all fine.

But lo and behold on the morning this 13-yr-old parked his hot dog stand in this parking lot, he was shut down. Why? Because it’s apparently unfair to the 8 restaurants downtown who have to pay extra taxes for things like heated sidewalks and other amenities, even though the owner of the private property on which the hot dog stand would operate already pays the extra taxes.
