CNN host lectures TX Republican on voter-ID law: You wanna make sure that you aren’t shutting voters out

Texas Republican Rep. Kevin Brady defends the voter-ID law in Texas, which the court is hearing arguments on today, citing good reasons why we need to ensure that the voting process is protected from fraud. But apparently his arguments weren’t good enough for this CNN host who toward the end of the clip puts on her ‘lecture face’ and proceeds to lecture Brady on how we must ensure that there are no barriers stopping eligible voters from voting:

But you want to make sure you aren’t shutting anyone out at the same time. There’s a balance between making sure that you’re not shutting people out because the overriding issue here has to be that someone who is an American and is eligible to vote is allowed to vote. You don’t want to put any barriers in that way.

I thought I caught a hint of bias early on but she really turns it on at the end here. Ugh.

UPDATE 2: Hotair has more from this interview where Christine Romans, as Ed Morrissey put it, spins like a top for Obama.
