In an interview with Senator Toomey, CNN puts on the screen Toomey’s deficit plan for cutting the budget and the whole list is basically leftist talking points from some analysis by a left-wing group, but especially the first two points: Tax cuts for the wealthy and takes hikes on those making less than $200k (aka the Middle Class). This causes Toomey to quickly interrupt and respond to the host “that’s factually wrong and ridiculous and not close!”
He was very kind in his correction to her, but I’d say this was a perfect opportunity for a little media smack down.
