UPDATE: I understand that Hank Johnson has Hepatitis C and it messes with the brain. This is probably a result of that.

    You'd think some of his peers would have shut him down over it rubbing off, but when you have no platform or standards almost anything is fair game. I just don't know what to say when you witness something like this. A fifth grader would have been more eloquent, rational, could have done the math. How the hell that General sat there and took that without freaking out is amazing. Look for this on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

    Hmm, I'm wondering what the context of this clip is. Clearly it's about relocating Marines to Guam, but is it as an alternative to the Futenma issue that we're in negotiations over with Japan?

    I've been following the Japan story fairly closely since the DPJ rose to power, so if you could let me know Scoop, I'd appreciate it!

    And yes, the individual concerned about Guam's safety does appear to be either drunk, high or really sleepy.

    This is just purely hilarious ! The military must have big laugh each time they have hearings with people don't understand a damn thing or just wanna sound smart lol

    I laughed pretty regularly because I had people like this goofus in my own unit who were actually in charge of things. Thank God we didn't get into any situations which required actual critical thought on our leaders' part.
